Mary Lou Retton, the first American woman to win all-around gymnastics gold at the Olympics, is "fighting for her life" with a serious illness, according to a fundraiser posted by her daughter.

McKenna Lane Kelley said her mother has "a very rare form of pneumonia" and is "not able to breathe on her own." She said Retton has been in the ICU for more than a week and is not insured but declined to go into further details.

Proceeds from the fundraiser will reportedly go to Retton's hospital bills.

Kelley is the second of Retton's four daughters and was a gymnast herself at LSU from 2016 to 2019.

SUDDEN, RARE, AND BAFFLING!
So, was Mary Lou Retton fully inoculated for Covid? I am not blaming Retton for doing what 70+ million people did because they trusted their doctor or couldn’t lose their job. We deserve to know because TPTB continue to demonize those who refused to be inoculated... And now have the nerve to say to those who are suffering, No one forced you.

Here’s likely why there are so many rare cancers popping up, people with more than one cancer, recurrence of cancers that have been in remission for years, turbo cancers (highly aggressive, do not act ‘normal’, respond to treatment, etc.) .... the mRNA shots have known oncogenic components, intentionally added. Here is a link to an excellent panel discussion on the latest findings regarding the cancer causing potential which are very alarming/disturbing.

Yep. Before the white man spread his poisonous culture, wood never burned on Earth.
Everywhere was 75 degrees and sunny. Cats and dogs frolicked together.

There are sites that list celebrity net worth. Hers is estimated to be in the millions. Honestly, there are some (albeit few) really rich folk who “self insure.” That is, they decide to roll the dice and pay out of pocket.

Her insurance needs are honestly none of my business. I must say that I find it interesting that her child doesn’t want to invade her privacy by describing the illness in detail...but doesn’t mind sharing that she is uninsured. Does that seem odd to anyone else?

I hope she recovers. Respiratory issues are terrible.

Tomorrow, the hospital in our area locks its doors. Cannot survive on free care by taxpayers. They wanted a ‘hospital district’ to tax us more for those who don’t think they should use their earnings for caring for their family’s health. So...they wanted the rich around to pony up even more money to keep it open and that failed also.

Our community used to be strong in God, Family and Country but wanting cheap labor we have largely forgotten God and now its Me, Fraud and work for Cash and let the rich man pay for my needs while everything falls apart and everyone begs for more from the taxpayer. Just another story for the Bible in 2020’s repeated from The Old Testament!

(Yet, I have great hope for God’s people and His World!!)

“26 Texas rural hospital closures (permanently or temporarily) have occurred in 22 communities since the beginning of 2010.”

“CHQPR study estimates 76 rural Texas hospitals are at risk of closure and 12 rural Texas hospitals are at immediate risk of closing.”

...there a whole lot of people with significantly less net worth that could justify raising money for their personal health care expenses.

But no one's heard of them. Name recognition is key to that pursuit. A lot of us in the older generation remember that spritely little champion with the big smile!

In many cases it was vaxx or be fired. Can't put the blame on most of them. But my wife is an exception. She was not required to be vaxxed and boostered, but she trusted Fauci and MSNBC more than she trusted me when I pointed out that since we were infected with COVID (11/2020) and recovered, it was unnecessary.

Within ten days after her third jab she began exhibiting Parkinson's type symptoms and having bouts of dementia. The meds she's on are not improving her, only slowing the progression.

Sure but property can be sold. If she is worth $8M she should be able to take care of her bills.

I think it was for Colonial Penn Life Insurance. It’s not the kind that can help her now.
