dforest: "Ukraine isn’t an ally and is not even in NATO.
NATO and the EU don’t even want them. "

Well, then you should personally go and speak to Vlad the Invader about that, because he says Ukraine is part of NATO and the EU and that's why he had to invade Ukraine!
Don't you see? Vlad has to stop NATO and the EU from expanding into Ukraine, even if it means killing every Ukrainian and half or Russians to do so.

So, if you now tell us that Ukraine is not our friend or ally, how utterly insane does that make Vlad the Invader?
He's trying to destroy another country -- and not just Ukraine either -- based on a mere figment of his own lunatic imagination?

And you want us to stand-by and do nothing?
Just like the French, Brits and Americans stood by and did nothing in 1936, when revanchists marched into the Rhineland (similar to Chechnya)?
And still did nothing to oppose them in 1938 from invading Austria (similar to Georgia)?
And still did nothing when they conquered and annexed Czechoslovakia in 1939 (like Crimea & Ukraine)?

Does that lesson from history not provide us with ample proof of what happens when good people stand by and let aggressive dictators bent on conquest have their way?

dforest: "It is an ally with the Biden regime and the Globalists who seek to run the place forever.
But that is primarily for uh...business reasons."

Since 1991 Ukraine has been more of a genuine democracy than any other former Soviet Union country outside the Baltics, certainly more so than "mother Russia" herself.

Since roughly 2004 Ukraine has tried to become more independent of "mother Russia" and more aligned with the EU.
Since the Russian invasion in 2014, Ukraine has also sought closer ties with NATO, for obvious reasons, and NATO has responded favorably.

The USA under Pres. O'bama sent blankets to Ukraine in 2014 after Russia's first invasion.
Under Pres. Trump we sent Ukraine highly lethal military weapons and after Vlad's 2022 2nd invasion, the O'Bidens upped the ante over what Trump had done.

If we go back to Bush II, he recommended Ukraine and Georgia join NATO and before that, Slick William Clinton helped negotiate the Budapest Agreement in 1994 guaranteeing Ukraine's independence and sovereignty in exchange for giving up their stockpile of nukes.

My point is: the USA has treated Ukraine as a friend and ally for at least 30 years, to include formally guaranteeing their security at Budapest in 1994.

Legally and morally we cannot walk away from Ukraine, or wash our hands of them, without breaking both formal and informal agreements with our friends in Ukraine.

It's a certain sign that you have no serious arguments or facts to present when all you can think of is mindless insults, FRiend.
