One Way Out is a live cut that follows three studio tracks on the album Eat A Peach.
It's about a guy who is having an affair with a woman whose husband has apparently come home. He's starting to wonder if she's worth the hassle, and one thing's for sure - he's not going out the front door, since he doesn't want to meet up with her man.

Best album in the history of music
Having seen the Allman Brothers Band live three times (while Duane was still alive) as well as many other concerts in that era, I have long held that this was the greatest live rock concert recording of all time.
The closing of the Fillmore East. I listened to that whole thing lying in bed way into the night.
The sound quality is so damned good for a live recording - then you listen to other albums recorded at the Fillmore East and they are just trash (CSNY 4-Way Street a good example).

Em. Duane allman is all over that track and all over that record.

In terms of pure musicianship, it’s hard to top the Original Six Allman Brothers.

The story I heard is they were laughing on the album cover because somebody just ripped one.
Tough call between this and "Live At Leeds". I think Lou Reed's "Rock and Roll Animal" deserves some consideration as well.
