Tucker Carlson, one of Fox News' biggest boosters of President Donald Trump, made an impassioned case against the airstrike that killed Iran’s top military leader, blasting Washington for ignoring "the big picture."
During his Friday night show, "Tucker Carlson Tonight," the host decried the escalation of tensions with Iran sparked by the killing of Quds Force commander Qassem Soleimani.
"No one in Washington is in the mood for big-picture questions right now," he lamented. "Questions like: Is Iran really the greatest threat we face?

Not that I ever had any love for this Soleimani dude, but it wasn't like the guy was leading an Iranian military force to invade Iraq or conduct clandestine operations to undermine the government there.
He was traveling to Iraq as an invited guest on a civilian aircraft and landed at Baghdad Airport.
Tucker is in the business of commenting on current news. This isn’t a hurricane. And the deliberate mass murder of hundreds of people is hardly an event. He’s done this in the past with subjects he wishes to avoid. He was pretty darned silent on the stealing of the election for starters. Maybe that’s because he was hamstringed by Fox. He has no excuse not to speak his mind on any subject now he is a free agent.
Actually, he was kind of doing exactly that.
Reagan responded to that bombing by removing our troops from that dump. They never should have been there in the first place. U.S. Secretary of Defense Caspar Weinberger had been adamantly opposed to the deployment from the start.

Are you speaking for the Republican establishment and/or Deep State by posting this? Are both going to use the attack in Israel as an off-ramp out of the horrifically failed proxy war in Ukraine? Are both finally on board in pushing for a regime change in Iran that might actually improve the lives of the people there?

I won't go so far as agreeing with one of the possibilities Alex Christoforou offered yesterday -- that Israeli and US intelligence knew about the attacks and let them happen (he did not endorse that theory) as a means of derailing BRICS and as an off-ramp out of the Ukraine war. I can't believe Israeli intelligence would allow that. But, it is opportunity for something good to come out of something so horrific.

Why would he NEED to do what you write? He doesn’t HAVE TO support the Jewish state. I see Islam as a greater threat than the Jews by far, but they can deal with it. They have Elohim, Yehovah on their side. They should hit their knees and ask for guidance. God could handle this for them, command or guide them. Tucker has gone missing. Just like he did in November and December 2020 while the election was being stolen from President Trump.
I’m not understanding your concern. Tucker’s not an elected leader. He’s a commentator. He’s entitled to his own opinion and whether, or when, to express that opinion publicly or not. Of course, you’re free to criticize whomever and whatever you choose, but it escapes me why it would be important enough to share this particular concern about him in a public forum. I find some of Tucker’s stuff interesting, but I for one don’t look to him to inform my opinions and have my own questions about his associations.
