Check out the interest rates on your cards. Chances are its around 20%. We have a zero balance on a store card that charges 31%.

So raise interest to 20% and get it over with.
It works so well to raise costs to lover prices.

I glanced at the rates last night. Super high.

We only use the credit cards so our debit card is not out there getting scammed. We also pay it off quickly/no balance

Too many people overspend and refuse to stick to a budget.

In the interest (pun intended) of destroying any semblance of humility, here are the balances on my four credit cards:

#1: $12.46
#2: $0
#3: $0
#4: $0

It seems I am a contrary indicator of economic progress.

If it ever came to a Revolution in our country this would be one weapon in the fight. Run up a large CC debit buying what you need at the same time withdrawing all the cash from your accounts then everyone stop paying. Watch the bank failures begin.

"...they’re increasingly turning to credit cards to make ends meet."

Are they insane, man? How about cutting spending. Or maybe engage in a little mass-looting - seems to work for some folks.

Good luck Jerry, the entire leftist, government (but I repeat myself) apparatus has floored the fiscal and regulatory policy pedals into inflationary insanity, because racism, climatism, genderism, anti-capitalism, etc.

Your monetary levers have a tough job ahead.
