“the Kia driver lost control of the car and crashed into a tree, after which the vehicle burst into flames.”
Talk about your wasted opportunities, they could’ve held a massive candlelight vigil right then and there without having to light a single candle.

It burst into flames?
How many KIA’s burst into flames when they crash? Is this a common occurrence in this KIA model... Do they typically burst into flames?

South Korean car manufacturers Hyundai and Kia announced they are recalling more than 91,773 vehicles in the US on Thursday (August 3), over concerns that damaged components in electric oil pump controllers could overheat and catch on fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) confirmed the recall. The recall covers roughly 52,000 Hyundai cars and 40,000 Kia cars, and was spurred by less than a dozen reports of cars catching fire. Both companies instructed customers to park their vehicles outside and away from any structure and reported that heat damage could potentially short-circuit onboard features.

two of the teens were cousins, and an aunt told WUSA-TV they were picked up and likely didn't know the vehicle was stolen — or they never would've entered it.Family is always the last to know when their kids go bad.

Just a guess: The average SAT score at the Charles Herbert Flowers High School just went up 10 points.
A sad event, but a foreseeable consequence of criminally idiotic self-indulgence and self pity, inculcated in them by their parent (they only know one of them) and the Charles Herbert Flowers High School faculty.

Is the tree okay? Hopefully the car bounced before it burned.

Family is always the last to know when their kids go bad. Michael Brown's mother was shocked, shocked I tell you!, to find out her son was committing strong-armed robberies and assaulting police officers.

The lack of empathy here on FR is disturbing.
Surely these two kids only got into that car because they thought their 16 year-old friend had just started his new job as an Uber driver. :-P
