@DarrenJBeattie

Newt Gingrich positively embodies the swamp, a fat disgusting pig who has had his pink snout buried in the trough for nearly a half century

Few are sleazier, slimier, and more representative of all that's repulsive about career GOP politicians

RE:

@newtgingrich

The effort to expel Matt Gaetz for being a destructive, irresponsible anti-Republican may be a step too far. Expulsion from the House requires a two thirds vote. However expelling him from the House Republican Conference and eliminating all his committee assignments and all resources other than those an individual member is entitled to would be a rational response to his suicidal efforts to cripple the House GOP.

Point being, attack the enemy, they have enough ammunition without our side attacking its own.

HOW MANY here on FR have sold/bought a house since 1994?

IF YOU ARE ENJOYING the NON-TAXABLE portion of your profits in that sale-—THANK GINGRICH

Gingrich just called for all the republican candidates to stop running and support Trump.

You've overstated the importance of that provision of the tax code. There was already an exemption in place prior to 1997 for those over the age of 55, and for those who were using the proceeds of the sale to buy another home.

Meanwhile ... you may be able to sell your home today without paying taxes on the capital gain, but you can't afford to buy new appliances because of the stupid government regulations that this jackass himself supported:

“Newt wants Gaetz gone.”

And for what? Trying to hold the leaderships’ feet to the fire and get them to keep their promises to the base?

Remember when Gingrich at least pretended that Republicans should keep their “contract with America”?

Now he reveals that was all just an act.

“What the photo says and those isolated from reality can’t comprehend is that those in government must interact”

There was no “must” about that photo. It wasn’t taken as part of them doing their required jobs. They voluntarily decided to get together and pose for that photo to help promote a leftist NGO.

In some ways Trump does, but not always. He wanted jail time for women who have abortions (and rightly so), only to have all women everywhere come down on him.

You’re disputing a matter of public record???

Even Newt himself said it was the stupidest thing he ever chose to do:

Good post—I did not know Gingrich was into the “climate change” scam.

I hear the sound ka-ching in the background....

Read the article you posted:

“he also warned conservatives not to take a hardened stance against belief in global warming.”

Climate change/global warming/global cooling is a vicious power grab by the elites—blatant lies.

Anyone who does not vehemently oppose it is either stupid or evil.

Just list his finances and we can tell if he one of them, like Pelosi, Clinton, Feinstein,etc.

According to this he doesn’t seem too “bought & paid for”, at least when he was in Congress:

“His last financial disclosure form listed assets worth no more than $606,000, and he had a number of financial burdens dragging him down, including a $300,000 penalty assessed against him by the House Ethics Committee for an improper book deal and a second divorce on the way.”

https://rollcall.com/2011/12/02/newt-gingrich-rose-to-wealth-through-congress/

Most of that net worth is explainable from book royalties and speaking fees, and not multimillion dollar ones like you see the usual suspects getting.
