"You're telling me we're sending $100 billion to a country that's not going to have elections"
“We’re sending $100 billion to a country that now has a president for life?”
"Does anyone remember the American Civil War? Where 600,000 people died and yet we didn't miss an election?"

The majority of the world’s countries suspend elections and civil rights during a war. The USA is a very special exception and few people appreciate this.
“Putin is willing to face the electorate in March 2024.”
If this were true then Alex Navalny would be on the ballot.
We agree that the thugs on both sides are at war, a non-NATO war between two non-NATO nations.
This view qualifies us as -- fill in the various accusations -- because those who throw out accusations require that there be only two sides -- good and evil. Black hat and white hat, just like the old cowboy movies.
Here is the greatest evil for our United States of America, and it wears no hat at all ---
Debt Clock
Based upon your argument every country with a Russian population that refuses to assimilate should round them up and deport them back to Russia as the imperial colonists they are.
Dick may not be so easily found on the internet these days, because of Beyonce copyright complaints, but one can enjoy a performance of a similar sort....
President Zelensky and Ukrainian people singing and dancing naked in supermarkets [Music Video]🇺🇦As is said in a nice NYC deli, "Enjoy."
Why do you care?
It's their fricking country.
We have a dictator and dictator Governors here.
Why don't you worry about this country?
An interesting assertion. Perhaps more would "appreciate this" if you lease provide a link that supports the assertion. Thanks in advance.
After 2014, yes. From 2000 to 2014, Putin was a good leader. Russia was a mess under Yeltsin.
The War Between the State wasn’t either, truth be told.
Thanks for posting. Very informative graphics and historic background.
It is a proxy war that could have been avoided.
We’re not paying Putin’s bills.
If you ignore hundreds of years of political, cultural, religious, linguistic, demographic, and economic ties, then you might have an argument. Russia and Ukraine share a 1,500 mile border. Russia doesn’t want Ukraine to join NATO. It is their red line.
If Ukraine was a nuclear power, if Ukraine was invading Russia, if Ukraine was threatening to attack (checks notes) Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Hungary, Romania and Moldova. And probably some other places I missed. Then I would be all for supporting Russia, to repel Ukrainian aggression, and kill and maim so many Ukes in the process that we would have a generation before they got the nerve to put their conquest machine on the road again.
You don't have to be a fan of King Zog, or Emperor Haile Selassie, to condemn Mussolini's invasions of Albania, and Ethiopia. You do have to be fan of Mussolini to support them, and a Putin Fanbois to support Putin's invasion of Ukraine.
There you go. Black is white, and girlies are boyies.
Sure.
What exactly do you call all the bombings and missiles by the Ukie government in the Donbas and killings in Odesa that go back over eight years?
I know what you call it.
Selective memory.
As the borders change in Eastern Europe, this area alone 20 times in the last 110 years, it’s a constant state of civil war. It was ongoing before the Obama regime intervened and mucked everything up further by turning Ukraine into a Uniparty satrapy.
"Never argue with an idiot. They will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience"
But I keep hoping that SOME of you will learn to READ and think independently, instead of just parroting youtube propaganda vids.
Champion of Lost Causes - that's me.
If we had a civil war today, elections might well be cancelled. Polling places would be subject to attack by one faction or another or just by lone nuts.
Britain postponed elections during the Second World War, yet they were still a representative Democracy and not a dictatorship.
“ After 2014, yes. From 2000 to 2014, Putin was a good leader.”
I don’t know a reason to disagree with this.
He did arm the Chicoms and the Chicom military is built up because of him. Clinton of course did similar things. That was a red flag that was ignored.
Pointing out Putin is a psychopath and cause the problem does not mean support for Biden or the Ukraine guy.
Criticizing Zelensky for wanting to be president for life but supporting Putin who is president for life is ridiculous.
It’s laugh out loud funny.
