Sept. 29 (UPI) -- The Rolling Stones have teamed up with Lady Gaga and Stevie Wonder on a new song.
The British rock band released the song "Sweet Sounds of Heaven" featuring Gaga and Wonder on Friday.
"Sweet Sounds of Heaven" appears on the Rolling Stones' forthcoming album, Hackney Diamonds.
In a post on Instagram, Gaga said she was in the studio preparing for her film Joker: Folie à Deux when Rolling Stones frontman invited her to join the band, Wonder and music producer Andrew Watt at a studio down the hall.
"We hung out for a bit listening to music and catching up. Mick then asked if I'd hang in the live room while they cut another record. I sat down on the floor, my back against a Rhodes-someone handed me some headphones and eventually a mic," Gaga recalled. "Mick was towering over me smiling saying 'go on and do your thing then.' I listened to the music and scribbled furiously trying to learn the tune and then freestyled and sang along."

After over 60 years in the business the Stones are still relevant.
I wouldn’t expect to see Gaga in the same sentence as heaven. Hell, no problem. I don’t think there is spirit cooking in heaven.
Love the name “Hackney Diamonds”. Hackney is the rough part of town and diamonds are the pieces of glass all over the place from smashed car windows. LOL.

For a long time I have prayed that Jesus would save Mick Jagger. I think the Lord is answering prayer. Thank you jesus. Amazing grace.
So far so good. Of course I liked the first few songs from Bigger Bang then that album just kind of fizzles. But always optimistic. Stones always work better when they’re being casual and inviting people from the studio next door.
No there's only grace in Heaven for those who receive Jesus who took away ALL sins.
Listen to Lady Gaga doing the backup role in Gimme Shelter. It’s pretty good. Note to Gaga, those platforms gotta go.
I can only hope Mick Jagger is turning to Jesus Christ. If he hasn’t, now is the time.

I am really astounded at the money involved in making music. This came to the front right now over the Taylor Swift/Kelce take over of every sports station at the moment. Swift makes more in a night than Kelce makes all year.
Poor Elvis really got screwed over by Parker not letting him tour.
Swift really is big business. NFL is seeing an increase in viewers, clothing items, and tickets because of one appearance of Swift at a game. She wouldn’t even let Fox use her music. LOLOL
Swift is an outlier. At most there’s a dozen artists out there that can sell out stadiums. And probably less than half those can do multi-night stands at a stadium. And sure if you’re going to do that you’re going to make $$$. Everybody else out there is going to have to tour for years to make 1 night of that.
I suspect heaven will sound far better than that.
What an amazing experience it must have been to be a teenager living in London in the mid to late 60s!
