At No. 1: Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Also getting high marks for fun were two Christian schools, along with James Madison University, Tulane and the University of Dayton

Indiana, PA, is also the birth place of actor Jimmy Stewart.
yep I’ve heard that some colleges, which are in small towns in the middle of nowhere, become party schools because there’s nothing else to do.......
Lousy fact-checking, WSJ. Tulane is private (sort of; there are Louisiana laws governing it), but not sectarian.
Arizona State has been rated high in the past. I wonder how they placed this year.
And then there is Tulane, which is in New Orleans and therefore has a home field advantage when it comes to partying.
When we were in college, there were a few times when our team (Yellow Jackets) played Tulane in NOLA. I only went once and it was definitely a party trip.

My alma mater ranked #16. We've slipped a few places since Covid...
Years ago, Playboy did this on an annual basis, and after a while they delisted Washington State University in Pullman, WA, (after being rated #1 many years in a row) stating that WSU no longer qualified because all the other schools were amateurs at partying and WSU competed at the pro level.
.
My alma mater is #14, LOL. The big party of the year is coming up on Halloween. Lots of Ohio State students used to come down from Columbus when I was on campus.
My Alma Mater UAB is a bunch of classroom buildings placed in the middle of the city of Birmingham, Alabama. It was so boring down there. We are probably ranked last in party schools.
Expensive partying these days.
My alma mater finally beat Ohio State in something (besides wrestling)! 😔
Buy and drink beer out of 24 oz galvanized buckets.
At the time, was the largest consumption of beer in the US for a event exceeding any previous sporting event.
Was also the last time the city of Lubbock allowed the Pikes to use the civic center.
Restroom situation: outside the center was a 100 yrd line of porta-potties for the women. We men had our hundred yard line; peeing down the side of a hill.
Dang, I didn’t start until 1981 so I missed out. But I heard the stories…
All of them.
There are 4 schools in Ohio that rank in the top 25. That’s not good.
LOL
I have to claim guilty on Tulane.
