Giving NYC Greens What They Want
American Thinker ^ | Milli Sands

Posted on 09/22/2023 5:07:38 AM PDT by MtnClimber

If a state can be a laboratory, then why not a county? City? District? How about AOC’s district?

Recently, NYC witnessed the “march to end fossil fuels.” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez was there. Among the things she said to inspire the crowd:

We must be too big and too radical to ignore…We are all here for one reason: to end fossil fuels around the planet.

Jean Su of the Center for Biological Diversity, who helped organize the mobilization, said:

This is an incredible moment… Tens of thousands of people are marching in the streets of New York because they want climate action, and they understand Biden’s expansion of fossil fuels is squandering our last chance to avoid climate catastrophe.

I think that AOC on her best day is an idiot with a following based largely on a political variation of the Greater Fool Theory. She is a kakistocratic leader.

For a female-appearing politician, AOC is easy on the eyes to some observers. This not only helps her Twitter account, it also is proof that Brains x Beauty = K.

Further, I am absolutely clear that anthropogenic global warming cum climate change is BS.

That said, I want to give her the benefit of the doubt and go with the climate change flow.

I am going to propose a way to test the “grit” of the protestors by giving them what they want, on a limited scale, i.e., ending fossil fuels locally before going global. This way, if they are proven right, they can convert the rest of us to their position without gluing themselves in public spaces.

Lots of people are asking for demonstration projects to prove feasibility. I agree, AOC’s district would be perfect.

Her constituents would be lulled to sleep by the hum of the neighbors’ generators. They will be gently aroused from sleep by the beckoning wail of the electric firetrucks rushing to put out the house fires caused by burning candles and wood stoves.

The streets will be freed of any plastic objects that used to litter the streets. And the health benefits of having to walk across town to purchase the family’s fake meat and bug flour will greatly reduce healthcare costs, though they may need to subsidize the local mortuaries to alleviate the overcrowding.

NYC has RCV.

NYS just went all mail-in.

Deep State wouldn’t be doing that if NYSers were willing to vote for this ****.

Was she talking about fossil fuels or her Kardashian Butt?

The oil companies should simply refuse to ship their products into these Blue Hives. Let the Greenies walk.

Just like gun companies should refuse to sell their products to anti 2nd Amendment jurisdictions including any and all law enforcement agents.

The end of “fossil” fuels is the end of food.

Good luck.

“The end of “fossil” fuels is the end of food.”

It’s that simple. Do they REALLY want to go back to the times when 98% of Americans lived and worked on farms? They never think how we went from 98% living in farms to 2% living on farms.

You cannot run farms on batteries and windmills.

Just like you cannot run a modern industrial society on windmills and solar cells.

Kakistocracy. Noun, government by the least suitable or competent citizens of a state.

We have an abundance of this in positions of power to teach, administer, regulate, tax, judge, legislate, and serve in top level leadership positions. This isn’t going get fixed overnight....

There is no such thing as man-made climate change. The premise is flawed. [End Discussion]

One way through this might be to show the “greenies” that “fossil fuel” is not really fossil fuel, but I believe it was proven to be otherwise some years ago & has been shown to be replenishing. Hope I am correct on this.
