How about... why the hell was there ever funding in the first damned place? Typical leftist government “better late than never” underwhelming response. Never mind that the funding was supposed to be illegal (not authorized by Congress) by the US. Let’s not focus on that aspect.... or on the aspect that the US can be held partially responsible now for the COVID-19 pandemic. The Marxist left can always find an ‘end run’ around legalities though, can’t they.
