A “hoard” implies hoarding.

In this case it seems to be the remains of a temple.

Very interesting and cool. I enjoy your posts but I don’t think “five tiny pieces of sheet gold” qualifies as a “hoard”. The title suggest bags / chests full of gold coins and jewelry.
