What battlefield gains has Russia made? Name one in the last year.

With the Air Force Russia has on paper they should be cleaning up, but they are not and continue to rely on air craft launched munitions way behind frontline and expensive cruise missiles tondo their work
Ukraine has little choice at this moment, but again on paper Russia (unlike their claims of wiping out Ukrainian Air Force several times over) should have air superiority and be flying freely over Ukrainian territory, but they are not and the Ukrainian Air Force is still operating and about to get much more effective,

Approximately 20% of Ukraine which is basically all the Russian speaking areas are controlled by Russia and have been for over a year, that doesn’t appear to be changing anytime soon, despite a much hyped counteroffensive.
Personally, I don’t care at all for either country, other than it’s a losing situation for the USA.

Russia could easily pulverize and defeat the Ukrainians but they proceed incrementally, why? They don’t want to totally defeat them, they want the ukrs to surrender, a surrender that will guarantee their unhindered access to the sea.
I think Ukrainian attacks to advance are not slow. Instead they are doing something that I believe will work. They’ll make the whole Russian front collapse.
Ukrainians are holding back enough forces to storm in there and they have been very good at doing things like taking out the S-400 to soften all this up from behind the Russian front.
Biden is frustratingly stupid, but if he ever got over it then introducing both ATACMS and the ample M26 reservoir as counter-battery could shock the Russians enough that Ukrainians could do something they later say was “Schock and Awe”.
Each M26 rocket is disposed of at the cost of a few thousand dollars per piece. People opposed to sending these just most likely don’t know it. These rockets are worth negative money!

They will arrive in Ukraine in the spring of 2025..
