The Left has raised the politics of personal destruction to an art form. They attack from all sides and it is an effective tactic for them.
The ultimate effect is one of discouraging many qualified people from running for high office. They simply don’t want to expose themselves and their families to this kind of abuse.
So its the country that loses the services of good people.
Well, I didn’t say anything about sitting around like simps… Because you’re absolutely correct. However, there’s a happy medium between sitting around like simps and thinking that some respect can come back to the presidency at this point. And I am acknowledging that until Jesus comes back morality and decency are pretty much out the window. I’m in prayer mode.

There are still plenty of highly moral, decent people in this country. You give them short shrift.
I know.. I’m one of them. ;). You probably are, too…and most FReepers…but I’m not kidding myself that our government is.
