Wow, this “influencer” searched for a few individuals who weren’t satisfied with the new iPhone models. Couldn’t find anything else to write about, I guess.
There’s nothing revolutionary, but what’s left (except time-travel or something)? I’ll probably wait a bit and get one. Many people seem to get every new version, but I only upgrade immediately if I lose my phone, LOL!
However, I’ve factored an occasional new phone into my phone bill because I generally buy from my carrier (I pay over three years), so it doesn’t make a big difference.
I’m glad it’s not too AI, although the software will probably be a humanoid nightmare.
Meh........Apple had to get something out there to comply with the EU requirement to switch to a USB-C port for charging/data. I’ve looked at the 15 Pro specifications, and it seems like a 14 Pro with a little extra.
This is just people trying to talk down the stock.
The 14 was no more innovative than the 13 which was no more innovative than the 12 which was no more innovative than the 11 which is the last major innovative phone that Apple’s released.
There are definite hardware updates to the 15 (wifi 6e and USB-C among them) but this is obviously an interim release for a major update next year to coincide with their Apple Vision Pro.
“Innovation died with Steve Jobs”
Not true at all. Tim Cook has done very well.
Their 5G phones will kill ya.
But there were probably lines around the block to buy one of the new shiny things...
If only Rush could give us the lowdown on all of this.
“innovation died with Steve Jobs“
Very true.
The iPhone is a very mature product. It does essentially everything a cell phone needs to do, and does it to near perfection. You can say the same for other phones from Samsung and other manufacturers. There have been mostly small incremental improvements over the years, with a few significant innovations like wireless charging, face and fingerprint recognition, smart watches and CarPlay/Android Auto, but they will be few. The 15 is an incrementally better phone in most ways. I’m not sure these people even know what exactly they are looking for from Apple.
EU forced the charging port.
Apple= overpriced and living off previous successes.
