Yeah. So. Again I was faced with the trolley problem when young, this would be pre-1980. Life will always have hard choices, maybe not who lives and who dies, unless you wind up a military commander, but there’s always choices. Never too early to start learning how to make hard choices, the no win scenarios, the short term vs long term thinking. This kind of “what are my priorities, what am I trying to accomplish, what do I value” decisions determine our dietary habits, exercise, finance. It’s all the same thinking. Start learning it young, because that is adulthood.
I don’t mind the exercise.
I simply doubt that the teacher had the same quest for youth formation that you outlined.
