that’s just the deepstate swamp monster rearing up for election season
I think it looks like a an underwater ufo
The Loch Ness monster is like Big Foot, and man made climate change, it doesn’t exist.
Almost certainly an otter. There have been several photographs of otters starting to dive in Lock Ness. The raise their tail as they go under, and the tip often flips to a side, giving the appearance of a neck and slender head, particularly at a distance.
This photograph has nothing to scale it. It is just a blur. Probably an otter.
Was it’s name Fani or Stacey?
I believe it. It has more credibility than Joe Biden as President.
Alas, on closer inspection I was proven incorrect. Wrong beast.
They otter took a better picture.
Michelle, is that you?
I just wish people would leave the poor thing alone.
[in a Scotty voice] “There be Nessie here!”
I’ve come to the conclusion that all monsters are blurry and that’s why there’s no clear pictures.
Some hunter. Doesn't even have a telephoto lens to capture a clear picture? A true hunter would have just such a camera set and ready to shoot when the occasion arises.
one theory about this that would be more grounded in surviving species is that the monster sightings are eels. there is a circumstance where eels will surface coiled, created the visual effect of a sea serpent.
Loch Ness was under a glacier not that long ago. I am agnostic on bigfoot, but Nessie has some notable logistic issues if it is supposed to be some exotic survivor species of ancient times
I do find the fact stories have been around for at least centuries interesting - apparently as long as we have written records (almost). prior to then, the land would have been early scots (irish invaders) and maybe at some point speakers of old northumbrian (the modern line for gaelic is quite close to inverness), before that picts, and before that whoever the picts displaced or assimilated, but we have no written records from any of those peoples.
