Can the liver safely tolerate high doses?

Yes. AZ and I have gone over 10g per day. You are severely niacin deficient.

Pro tip: dilute t=your dose in a glass of water and sip that for a while. That way you don't get the whole flush punch at once. Once you move on to higher doses you'll be able to take the whole dose at once. You are going to have to get up to around 3g per day for therapeutic effects to be noticeable. After that a maintenance dose of 1g a day is recommended.

Thank you both. I will try sipping it.

I am a bit confused about:

#1p: Are you basing the degree of Niacin deficiency on the severity of the flush? AZLiberty’s post says the degree of flush is not proportional to the dose.

Not taking Quercetin or C is going to be a big change. Both really helped ward of a lot of illness this past year.

I wonder why they are not compatible with Niacin. I thought they are both water soluble and the body just excretes what it doesn’t need. Or is there more to it than that?

AZLiberty: With the GPR109 mixture (just taking immed. release niacin now but have ordered the GPR109)- in order to get to 3g niacin/day, one would also be intaking much more of the other two ingredients, yes? Are they also ok to take in such high amounts?
