Several weeks ago I posted a prayer request for my little dog. Through a veil of tears and terrible grief I have to report he passed away today. I want to thank all of you kind souls for the best wishes and prayers but it was not to be. We will keep praying and dwell on the Rainbow Bridge. God bless.
Im so so sorry for your loss. We have lost two of our fur babies so I understand the pain. RIP to your sweet lil pup
We (wife and I) went through that a couple of years ago and know how tough it can be.
Our little friend shared life with us for 18 years.
We sympathize.
unlike some of us humans out here
Sorry for your loss, we have three little ones we love dearly.
My prayers go out to you, Bonemaker.
So sorry for your loss. I’ve buried my share of furry friends and it’s very hard. Hate that rainbow bridge.
Sorry for your loss. We had our first family dog Sugar for 16 years and it was sad the last couple of years when she was in pain and it was obvious what needed to be done but nobody in the family wanted to do it. I think affectionate animals are one of God’s consolations in this life. Their faithfulness and even willingness to defend their owners to the death if need be is noble and beautiful.
Yea, our King of the house passed away 2 years ago. Still think about my buddy.
Aw, I’m so sorry. Sending up a prayer for your comfort. Furry friends are family.
Sending up a prayer for you, too. ♥️
Last Saturday we lost our beloved ‘Toby’, a half Lhasa Apso and half Shih Tzu, who was 18 years old. We had him since he was a 6 week old puppy. Like losing a member of the family........................
Sorry for your loss. They are so special to us who know.
To all:
I lost my little guy in March, and miss him so!
He was 15, but would probably have lived longer if he’d not eaten the Oxalis in our yard.
When I moved into our house over three years ago, I was so happy it had a nice fenced in back yard for Lucky to play in.
What I did not know was the Oxalis—a shamrock-like plant with pretty pink flowers—is toxic for dogs, and attacks their kidneys.
:(!
oh i’m sad for you. there no real comfort initially because the loss cuts so deep and is so raw. and it is thus because it is a real and ever-present bond and it seems to be gone. but do hope you believe that the love you feel is eternal, - and it continues on a different continuum, both ways. that connection is forever. in the meantime, cry your eyes out. it’s an okay thing to do.
Please accept my condolences. It’s so painful to lose a beloved fur baby.
Sorry to hear that. :(
They are family. Just not human family, still family.
