Here’s some chaos for your entertainment pleasure, courtesy of the Sunshine State.
The Florida State Seminoles and LSU Tigers squared off in a Sunday night prime time contest in Orlando, helping to kick off the new college football season in style. Those plans started out good, however, things completely collapsed for LSU at the end of the third quarter, eventually leading to them getting blown out in a 45-24 thrashing by the Noles.
It was absolutely embarrassing for the Tigers. In fact, it was so embarrassing that LSU fans are hilariously already calling for the firing of head coach Brian Kelly.
Just check out this comedic gold:

I know my dad’s gotta be loving this as a Florida State fan … As a matter of fact, he is.
This is why we love college football, ladies and gentlemen. The passion!
To be fair, FSU football rode the same controlled descent into terrain, from Jimbo's perfect 2013 to just 8 years later, 'Coach' Norvell in his second full season, losing control of the 2021 game late against Jacksonville State. FSU upset by the first non-FBS team since William & Mary in 1959.
His 9-3 last year had more to do with paucity-not-parity in the ACC last year, but which looks to be on a full rebound, plus the new kids Stanford, California Berkeley and SMU all won their openers.
Norvell also made good use of the portal.
That’s the new reality of college football. One year you stink, the next you win a Natty, and vice versa.
Yep. ND and OK both start the year in top 5, then slide. Or, they go 9-2 and get smoked in the bowl game vs. SEC.
“Good, I hate Ohio State, and I was happy when Coach O won it with Burrow.”
Ditto.
“SEC was going to collide with parity and this is that season.”
Could be. Hell, even the hapless and disintegrating Pac 12 went 13-0 to open the season!
I was rather surprised, but Jesuit barely managed to beat Rockwall!
Now that made laugh
LOL... “When in Louisiana...”
