Here’s some chaos for your entertainment pleasure, courtesy of the Sunshine State.
The Florida State Seminoles and LSU Tigers squared off in a Sunday night prime time contest in Orlando, helping to kick off the new college football season in style. Those plans started out good, however, things completely collapsed for LSU at the end of the third quarter, eventually leading to them getting blown out in a 45-24 thrashing by the Noles.
It was absolutely embarrassing for the Tigers. In fact, it was so embarrassing that LSU fans are hilariously already calling for the firing of head coach Brian Kelly.
Just check out this comedic gold:

I know my dad’s gotta be loving this as a Florida State fan … As a matter of fact, he is.
This is why we love college football, ladies and gentlemen. The passion!
Well, it IS TEXAS after all....................
Oops, wrong thread............
More importantly, did he say all that in a Yankee accent or a Coon-ass accent?
Just axin’ for a friend.
Many, many years ago, Notre Dame played Oregon State in the Fiesta Bowl.
Colin Cowherd called a number of his friends to tell them to bet big on Oregon State once he saw the teams rum onto the field to warm up. He said the Oregon State players were really big, athletic, and fast. That was the year Oregon State had two big, fast wide receivers who became all-pros for a number of years.
Oregon State torn ND a new A-hole.
Best bets in college football was to bet against the point spread if ND was selected for the BCS games. They always got crushed.
“I went down to da Audobon Zoo, and dey all axed for you.”
I remember that game, it was sweet.
I want Notre Dame to lose every game they play.
Of course Oregon State tore us one, last year, too.
Hmm, where did I go wrong?
You didn’t, I did.
I thought I was on the TCU / Colorado thread!...............
The QB for Oregon State in that beat-fown was Jonathan Smith. He’s now the Oregon State Head Coach. Brilliant offensive mind.
This year, the PAC-12 has 5-6 QB who will definitely play in the NFL. Just look how the PAC-12 have dominated their opponents so far. 13-0. Aside from CU v. TCU, crushed their opponents by huge margins. Oregon won 81-7, and could have hit 100 if they wanted.
Mark!
Go figure, the Pac-12 finally gets good, and they break it up.
Ah. Well no worries.
“They’ve had a dozen coaches since they ran off Charlie Mac.”
And one of them died before he could coach even one LSU game (Bo Rein).
One of — if not the — best college quarterbacks of my lifetime (I’m in my 70s).
How did Ohio State let him get away?
“How did Ohio State let him get away?”
Burrow was too much of a pro-style QB, and OSU was not looking for that. LSU grabbed him up. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Good, I hate Ohio State, and I was happy when Coach O won it with Burrow.
Tip: Watch JJ McCarthy. He is looking really good. They took him out after 3 quarters, and this isn't because I'm a UM homer, but he had matured in every way. His passing accuracy and decision making are off the charts (I know, I know, East Carolina, but just watch his highlights).
From what I saw, I'm guessing he is going to get close to that Burrows magic. He throws as well when he is running as in a good pocket, and that dude is fast.
