In my corner of Arizona, we’ve had lots of rain, through July, August and just yesterday as well. All the lakes are way up!

Uh, no. “...rejection of corporatism and capitalism...” (?). Lets see. 70,000 (+/-) attendees at a minimum $500/tkt. Yeah screw capitalism. Wonder how many are branDUHnites? I believe the Paiutes get about 7 million of it. And, now who, will be responsible to smooth the ruts after it dries out?

How many attendees live off their wealthy family’s trust fund?
Total joke.

LDRS == Large Dangerous Rocket Ships
The first annual launch out there is known as Mudrock. The playa is usually pretty muddy from the winter storm runoff.

record rains from a recent hurricane added two feet to lake meade. This rain may add another foot. All good. Allgood. It's raining in San Diego as I post this. It never rains in San Diego.

In very few occasions in my life did I join “masses” in doing something and always found them to be dumb things to do again.
There are always idiots and the bigger the mass of persons the greater likelihood among them that idiots are included and those idiots can easily, and often do, ruin the event for many people. I avoid joining masses of folks, for any reason.

Well, I get to see quite a few conveyances headed to BM (appropriate?) and it appears a lot of them have way more disposable cash than I have. Of course there will be the cheap ticket folks lingering in Reno trying to find a way back to where they came from. đź‘Ť

This is the first time it’s rained for this event?
Well, given that it's held in summer in a place that gets less than 8" of rain a year, yeah, it's pretty plausible that it hasn't been rained on before (only been held a few decades).

I used to work with a longtime burner who went every year and had something to do with event logistics. I remember he said one year that there had been some rain, but it didn’t sound very serious, so probably a lot less than this year.
I never want to go anywhere near Burning Man. Maybe if they turned over the entire $30+ million gate to me, but possibly not even then.

Where are all the basement dwellers Soros summer camp encampments ? Are they taking the summer off or did the immigrants take over their park real estate nationwide.
