National Public Radio was in a frenzy the other morning but it felt like the movie Groundhog Day: they were spreading tremendous alarm about the rise of Covid cases.
We have to stop the spread, the announcer said, and that’s why masks are coming back to classrooms. However, they added, relief is on the way in the form of a new vaccine.
Rinse, repeat — as the shampoo bottles say.
This line of thinking — stop the spread to reduce strain on hospitals, mask up, and so on — is being echoed by all major media organs. Leading the way is of course the New York Times.
I’m a bit superstitious about stories in the New York Times designed to drum up disease panic.
It was February 28, 2020, when this paper threw out one hundred years of editorial policy on infectious disease to counsel panic over calm, thus paving the way for what would come two weeks later: the astonishing wreckage of Covid lockdowns and everything that entailed.
There was a reason the Times was chosen to be the first media outlet to take this line on Covid. It would be exceedingly naive to think that this was driven by an independent editorial judgment. Someone likely put them up to it.
Regardless, I knew that day that the darkness was falling, that this was likely the beginning of a grand experiment in public health that would not only fail to achieve its aims but also wreck American liberty and prosperity.
After all, sectors of the ruling class had been gaming pandemics for twenty years. They needed to justify the endless hours and billions put into the grand project of pandemic planning.

How is it that we continue to allow the spread of leftist spew at taxpayer expense that is NPR? I guarantee they would find a way to exempt it from their “fairness doctrine” they want so much to enact.
Is this where we draw the line? Is this our Thermopylae; our Alamo? Where is the tipping point for Joe Lunchbucket?
The useful idiots are back at it.
People cannot allow this to happen. Pussy Republican politicians will do nothing. It is in the hands of individuals. I don’t trust a single stat that comes from the government or stenographers that unquestioningly report government stats as fact. Hopefully, more people will stand up to this crap this time around. Personally, I will avoid businesses that require BS masks and social distancing. I live a simple life and my shopping is almost only for food. There’s enough farms in the area that I can have my needs met, just like the last shutdown. It’s less convenient than going to a grocery store, but it’s better than bending to corporate compliance in fear of retaliation.
They’re going to tell the gullible, “Don’t let others kill you! Make them wear a mask!!”
We need more boosters!
We need more mail-in ballots!
We need more drop boxes!
We need more mules!
We need more masks!
We need more hand sanitizer!
We need more cowbell!
The sheer madness of it all...
COVID-19 and all its variants were never particularly dangerous. The means always existed to limit and control the virus even right at the beginning, but effective treatment was DENIED by authorities and even legally prohibited in many instances, and the bogus “treatments” (the mRNA vaccines” and several bogus “antiviral” injections), did little if anything to stop the course of the disease, and in fact, introduced a number of side effects that in many instances were MUCH worse in the long term than the actual disease itself.
We have lost a generation, in terms of reduced longevity and in the stunting of educational opportunities of the children. The world will be dumber and poorer because of the social unrest and spreading of formerly exotic diseases by mass migrations and relaxed public health vigilance.
There is, and never was, any intention to “stop the spread”. To be effective as a terror tactic, the spread has to be as fast and widespread as malign science can make it happen.
World Economic Forum is bankrolling this, you know. The dieback of the human species to about half a billion or so is the objective.
Even my local Covid Karen neighbor isn’t buying this one. Last round she was the number one mask warrior.
Today? Feels like the pulled a fast one on us.
I see this more and more.
Will there still be Covid Karens and mask up warriors this time around? Yup, you betcha. But it won’t be without opposition.
I don’t care how they are selling it. I’m not buying!

Agreed 100% - what is stunning/sickening is how readily and happily the medical community went right along with it. They did themselves a huge huge disservice by showing people,that they can’t be trusted now. People were suspicious of the medical community before the pandemic, but now they really despise the community because of what they did to this nation- once respected medical journals flat out lied- knowingly lied- and only after all the damage had been done did they come out and quietly retract their bald-faced lies
I was a little surprised that the White Coat army didn’t take more casualties in 2020/21..
And a little surprised people like Cuomo haven’t been shot at yet either for killing grandmas and grandpas..
Just not understanding this mask business. Anyone with the competence to read should know that masks were proven ineffective some time ago. For the unschooled that means they don’t work. Quite sure the real science proves that out.
