A TikToker amassed online stardom after making a $12 Golden Corral free refill buffet last 12 hours. Said foodie named Madison called it her “best day ever.”
“What an accomplishment. Unlimited food and drink for one dollar an hour,” she bragged after clocking out in a clip viewed over five million times. “Best day ever. I think I got my money’s worth, but let me know what you think.”
Madison, whose TikTok is is a heaping course of outlandish food videos, began her journey began during breakfast time where she “literally ate” half of her favorite cotton candy cake. “Even though there is hair in it, the cotton candy cake was my favorite,” she revealed, excited to have her cake, eat it too and movie on to her second meal of the day. n

If all of that was about her having inexpensive access to “comfort food” then I wouldn’t want to be around when she’s uncomfortable.
She is surprisingly thin. I used to like all-you-can-eat buffets when I was young and ate like a pig, but the older I got, the more I got disgusted at the gluttony I would see in those places. Heck, in regular (cheap) restaurants, the portions are too big, usually overflowing with crap you don’t want in your body anyway, so the idea of deliberately cramming as much cheap, greasy, processed food as you can and seeing that as a “win” is repulsive.
Buffets are good for leisurely dining. Haven’t gone to one in well over a decade now
Could try a Chinese buffet, but then an hour and a half later you’re hungry again. WTF!
Eating out used to be fun. Portions used to be big in sit-down restaurants and even in fast food places. Taking food that you couldn’t finish home was common.
Now, portions are small and the prices are high. Lunches at casual places are $15-20 excluding drink. And if I am super hungry I sometimes leave still wanting a few more fries, etc. It’s not as much fun as it used to be.
I like how respectful and professional the staff was to her.
Golden Corral here cost $21. I love their meatloaf.
“Even though there is hair in it, the cotton candy cake was my favorite,” she revealed, excited to have her cake, eat it too”
You go now!
You no come back anymore!

“I used to like all-you-can-eat buffets when I was young” ... “I got disgusted at the gluttony”
Same here about the “used to when I was young” part. Now, I just can’t eat too much without being uncomfortable. As for seeing the gluttony, that’s really everywhere, even the dinners at church.
If I was on death row, my last dinner request would be for an all you can eat buffet.
I’m not a Golden Corral person. The quality just isn’t there.
Her feet must be quite swollen from all the salt.
I would guess that Golden Corral gains more customers out of this video!
I did this in college. I ate once a week like a snake. I don’t have any college loans, so I guess it worked.
Never been to a Golden Corral; I do visit PA and get the salad bar etc at Hoss’s Steak and Sea. Salad w varied ingredients, soup, desserts. At one yesterday ($12) and added a burger for $2. “Hos-some”.
During the pandemic they were open (when allowed to do so) and “suggested” wearing gloves at the buffet.
Lingering in restaurants—I go to Ohio and visit two friends—we go to Panera Bread. have some of their food then stay 2 or 3 hours and talk. They don’t mind...not a shortage of booths.
I couldn’t stand 1/2hr in Golden Corral if the food was free.
Our local Golden Corral closed and then reopened repeatedly, about once every year. (Lebanon, PA)
Lebanon is, and has been, a kind of sanctuary city.
The reason for the Health Department repeatedly closing it was because they couldn’t keep the cockroaches out of the building.
Rumor has it that a new business will be opening their franchise there. Chick-fil-A.
I’m going to wait for a good while before stopping there.
From my casual observations I have concluded that people who frequent all you can eat places are generally all you can weigh people.
