The two solar powered Mars rovers were slated to last 90 days exploring Mars. Of the two, Opportunity last over 14 YEARS.
The two current SUV sized Mars rovers are powered by plutonium. Curiosity has been exploring and examining for over 11 years. It is now climbing Mount Sharp. Perseverance, which brought the helicopter to Mars, has been on Mars for over two years. The helicopter Ingenuity was originally just a proof-of-concept experiment. Can anything fly in the Martian atmosphere. Well....... yes! The idea of checking out what is ahead of the main rover is just so cool.
Oh yes, and by the way, there is another amazing experiment on the Perseverance rover. It is called Moxie. It proved that we humans can make a large amount of oxygen on Mars.
This is all so very cool.
But how does this make Muslims feel good about themselves???
I’m very skeptical. Prove to me these same videos couldn’t have been shot in a Hollywood Studio…

Thanks for adding that to the thread. It's also one one my favorite etymologies, of going back to the soft drink. The original meaning of the word had dropped out of memory, but here's a funny thing: last night I was looking up the meaning of the name Douglas. It was oddly familiar but I just couldn't place it.
And here you came along today to place it for me. Much appreciated!
Introduced 1876; 147 years ago
Etymology
First recorded use in 1930. From the name of an American soft drink Moxie made since 1885 to which advertisement ascribed many beneficial properties directly but also indirectly by using the same name as a patent medicine first manufactured in 1878. The word appears in very many place names in Maine, especially of falls and ponds, and is perhaps ultimately from Abenaki [Term?] ("dark water").[1][2][3]Noun
moxie (uncountable) (US, informal)
Nerve, spunk, strength of character.
Synonyms: spirit, backbone, determination, fortitude
Verve.
Synonyms: vigor, pep, energy, initiative
Wit, smarts, skill.
Synonym: know-how
Usage notes
The origin of this word as the name of a popular product marketed as a cure-all may help to understand the logic behind the plurality of its similar meanings. The meanings can be grouped into "cures" for the problems of feeling too weak in spirit, body, or mind; in other words, of being overwhelmed/helpless, exhausted/listless, or confused/perplexed.
