@RepThomasMassie
For all the paid social media neenards who say I voted for the CARES Act, here’s the video showing I was the only person in Congress who rose to object to the CARES Act on March 27th, 2020. This is the only time during my time in Congress that a recorded vote has been denied.

FYI:
@RepThomasMassie
The CARES Act was the $2.2 trillion spending bill (many bragged $6 trillion with the lending authority) that funded the shutdowns and mail-in ballots and touched off the inflation that Biden and Congress later exacerbated.
He’s absolutely right. No other co gresscritter wanted to be on record for this, whether in their heart of hearts they supported Trump’s $2T boondoggle or not. This kicked off out current inflation. And for his absolute commitment to his constituents and the Constitution, Trump pilloried Massie for daring to slow the oh-so-important checks to all and the billions and billions to crony capitalists (not to mention mail-in voting subsidies.)
His rant here is a perfect example of the stupid game he plays in Congress. He's one of 1-5 opposition votes on bills that pass by overwhelming margins in the House, but when the time came for him to take a consequential stand (he could have blocked the debt ceiling deal in his role as committee chair) he had all the strength and conviction of a cardboard box left out in the rain for a week.
I’m shocked they didn’t go on the record. Actually, not surprising but it’s rare as hell.
You learn something new every day!
Oh, you’re a Leftist I see. Using the forum to push Disinformation.
As for the Cares Act:
Introduced in the House as H.R. 748 (Middle Class Health Benefits Tax Repeal Act of 2019) by Joe Courtney (D-CT) on January 24, 2019[a]

They all play games but I think Massie wants to keep that seat on the rules committee (he isn’t chairman).
He also voted for McCarthy, didn’t he? Probably same reasoning
On balance more conviction than most I think
That is exactly what happened.
Yep... you nailed it
Just another Massie-hole in congtress.
You’re bang on. Well said.
.
Massie also wouldn’t vote to Fine Schiff.
He made that resolution toothless, and I showed where Massie supported other Bills that fined members of the House. He was lying.
Remember when John McCain bragged about being part of the Reagan Revolution in 2008?
At least 434 compromised members of Congress...
This is why Massie's grandstanding label sticks.
Miami Mayor Suarez dropped out, didn’t he?
