Republican presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy is among millions urging the U.S. government to reveal its UAP, better known as UFO, knowledge.
“We deserve a government that stops lying to its people and just comes clean about what we know & what we don’t,” Ramaswamy wrote Wednesday in a post on X. “We CAN handle the TRUTH. And we deserve a government that gives it to us.”
It comes after Ramaswamy pushed for full disclosure and transparency of UFOs at a House Oversight Committee hearing on Wednesday.
In a note to Congress, shared in a similar message on X, ahead of the meeting, Ramaswamy proposed seven questions for the hearing that focus on the possibility that the government has withheld details about sightings.
“What are the names and titles of the people with direct, first-hand knowledge of & access to the crash retrieval programs? Which facilities/military bases house the recovered material?” he asked.
While it is unusual for political candidates to discuss UFOs, public interest has spiked following claims that the government has secretly been in possession of nonhuman spacecraft.
“Reality: this issue has been raised by credible and decorated members of our military & is currently being investigated by Congress,” Ramaswamy said.

It’s all in back issues of the Weekly World News.
Christie giggles, Ramaswamy does psyops, Pence would say "Demons!"...Nikki would say, "Sexual harassment!"...DeSantis would say, "Who wants to know? Disney?"
Why can’t he just run for office in India? AFAIK, he is not qualified to run for the Presidency in the US. He’s nothing but a spoiler. Remember the last one? Maybe you’re not old enough.
Yep. Vallee makes the most sense of all.
“At this point how are we to believe anything an official source says?”
Correct. You are responsible for your own disclosure.
If you care enough about the subject to do the work—go for it.
Here is one place to start:

And it’s now in the Congressional Record.
He’s not a citizen of India.
It will be interesting to see of Jordan Peterson picks up on that. He has interviewed Ramaswamy and seems to be following him pretty closely.
Swamy doesn’t have a chance, of course, but at least he is more interesting than the usual suspects. And smarter.
Pretty dull crowd of candidates other than Trump and Ramaswamy.
He didn't say that. That's distortion even on a NYT scale.
It's actually hard to know if I think other people can handle the truth without knowing the truth to start with.
Some people good talkers and parroters. He’s clearly not stupid but just because he has fast talk doesn’t make him Isaac Newton.
When it comes to being smart, the bar is set pretty low for politicians.
Probably not. There appears to be a momentum in the medisa to hyping this guy as a supergenius.
You have sadly had a front row seat, sorry. For a minute I thought Vivek might work, but his over the top sensationalism is obvious. I’m ready for him to declare there is merit to the flat earth theory.
Let me hold my breath.
Try watching interviews with Ramaswamy and his campaign speeches. He’s been highly consistent in what he says from the very beginning of his candidacy. I can only assume the UFO thing folds into a much broader issue of government transparency, which he frequently talks about. I’m big on government transparency, but that’s boring stuff to most people. However, if you bring up UFOs, JFK’s assassination or other things a lot of people are interested, it makes government transparency interesting. It’s good politics on Ramaswamy’s part. Personally, I don’t care about UFOs and JFK, but I don’t mind other people caring.
By the way, I’m voting for Trump, not Ramaswamy. Not voting for Trump is a victory to the deep state, Democrats and RINOs that think they can defeat Trump outside the ballot box. That cannot be allowed because they will use the same means on any popular Republican running for President.
Because he's not a citizen of that country.
There’s a scientific report saying most (good?) managers have a psychopathic side.
I heard there is a difference between the trait (common at low levels), and the disorder.
