US Army vet Dynell Lane needed to use the bathroom at Serious Pizza in Dallas, Texas in the early morning hours of June 10. But two off-duty police officers, working security at the establishment, refused to let him.
According to The Dallas Morning news, “Many states — including Texas — have a restroom access law known as ‘Ally’s Law,’ which states people lawfully on the premises of an establishment should be allowed access to a restroom if they provide evidence they have a medical condition that requires immediate access to a toilet facility.”
Lane provided the officers with medical paperwork documenting his medical issues resulting from his deployment in the Middle East, yet still they refused. Lane then called 911 but officers did not arrive in time to mediate the situation and the wounded veteran wet himself.
This awful moment for a disabled military veteran left responding officers laughing and mocking the veteran in a disturbing interaction caught on video.
Good thing they have pictures/video of these monkeys so that all their friends and relatives can see what kind of dimwits they are.

I heard on another news clip that they tried to sweep it under the rug like they usually do, but this one refuses to go under the rug. There are more investigations after the PD cleared the cops.
Dallas PD... wasn’t it one of their female cops who knocked on the door of one of her neighbors and then shot him dead? This happened not too long ago. I think they tried to sweep that under the rug too.
I’m glad the police investigated themselves and determined that it’s okay to humiliate disabled veterans of our armed services.

Agreed. I have no issue with the cops refusing entry if the disabled vet had been outside. Then it becomes a judgment call.
I have a HUGE issue with them thinking it was so damn funny, to see someone humiliated and in distress. All because of their inaction.
That’s a sure sign of someone who is mentally unstable.
Not saying it is "good" it just is. They have to deal with terrible situations on a regular basis.

Since the cops were not on duty, and were not acting in official capacity, this should go directly to their pockets. No qualified immunity. Start with filing an ADA complaint,

I saw a video on youtube the other day. It was a police bodycam of a cop who pulled a guy over for flashing his lights to warn drivers of the speed trap.
The cop admitted that doing so is not illegal, but turning on your bright lights at traffic is illegal, or something stupid like that. He then called that probable cause for a search.
The driver rightfully refused and was forcibly removed from his car.
The cop seemed like an idiot and mad cause he got his little feelings hurt. I can’t believe he posted that online though.
Kinda like the Maryland Troop thug who pulled me over for not changing lanes when he was on the side of the road. He failed to notice that I was doing about 20 in a 55 and that there was a car next to me.
I was so looking forward to the court date but he didn’t write me up. Bummer.
Looks like he has a legitimate complaint.
I see three cops on a power trip that should be unemployed and ridiculed in public. I have cop friends that are veterans. They would never do this! It is Dallas PD a hotbed of liberal think.

I spent some time (not much) working as an EMT. I saw that dark humor, both in the field and in the emergency room. It’s a way to release some steam, I guess. But I’ve got to say this. I’ve never seen a professional laugh at a terrible incident that they themselves caused.
I’m sure it happens. But then I wouldn’t call those folks professionals. I’d call them monsters.
They probably wanted him to go in public so they. could arrest him for public indecency. They are just evil Luciferian devils.
However, they also said that “none of the employees were presented any documentation indictating that Mr. Lane was disabled” and are “disheartened” to not have the opportunity to resolve the situation as it was happening.
