This week on Marking The End Times, I have a very important message for you regarding the mark of the beast and a cashless society. I explain this topic in depth as well as discuss the cashless payment system Amazon One.

Choose this day whom you will serve.
1 Thessalonians 5:1-3
King James Version
5 But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you.
2 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
3 For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
There are 19 mentions of the last days/end times in the New Testament and all of the writers declared that THEY were living in the last days—we are not.

You can prepare all you want but when the SHTF, it will all out chaos. A slaughter. And don’t think God will be on your side. He doesn’t choose sides. He is a side. Make sure you’re on His side.
When you see death coming, you are living in your last days. They've had theirs. Not it will be our turn.
“There are 19 mentions of the last days/end times in the New Testament and all of the writers declared that THEY were living in the last days—we are not.”

Well, good luck with that pretterist theology thing. How’s that Kingdom on Earth working out for ya?
Amen!
I choose Jesus Christ!
2 Peter 3:
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
= = =
So last days is plural, at least 2.
2 days times 1000 years per day is 2000 years.
Kind of like where we are now.
Offered for your thought.
“2 Peter 3:
8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.”

One of my favorite movies is based on that very Scripture:
[A college philosophy club meeting filled with atheists humiliate a new believer as he tries to prove to them the existence of God. As a result, a Christian out of fellowship with the Lord seeks revenge. He comes across a paper written 50 years ago regarding a theory a man had about when the world might end. With the paper in hand, he sets up a showdown with the club for their next meeting!]

I would however scratch this:
“regarding a theory a man had about when the world might end.”
...and replace it with this...
1 Thessalonians 4:13-18
King James Version
13 But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
And don’t think God will be on your side. He doesn’t choose sides. He is a side. Make sure you’re on His side.

BINGO!! TRUTH!!
I would point out the possibility that the John may have seen s symbol or a script that were unfamiliar to him and which resembled “666” instead.
These have long been used by islam as a badge worn on the are or forehead. You can look this concept up yourself on youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GtquNNEO7Fw and i’ll not cover it here, but suggest something that may, MAY, have relevance.
You see, the apostate west will arguably not come under the sway of islam unless they can keep their beloved sodomites (and now transsexuals) with them; but, under the long established Islamic doctrine of abrogation it is possible for Antichrist or his prophet to declare a poofter friendly Islam or a special dispensation and, removing the objection, see same apostate west flock to the mosques to take whatever mark is asked of them.
I bring this up as a possibility, something to consider, that is not in conflict with the basic idea of the OP.
”We are currently living in the last days of the Church Age, but we are not in the last days of the Jewish Age. Paul was in the last days. Luther was in the last days. John Darby was in the last days. We are in the last days of the Church Age. But we are not in the last days of the Jewish Age. That is the tribulation.”
- Dr. Robert L. Dean
DOCTRINE OF THE LAST DAYS
TERMS RELATED TO ISRAEL:
a. Latter days: Isaiah 2:2; Deut 4:30, 31:29, Jeremiah 30:24, 48:47, Dan 2:28, 10:14
b. Last days: Jeremiah 49:39, 23:20, Hosea 3:5, Acts 2:17, Is 2:2, Ezek 38:16, Micah 4:1
c. Last day: John 6:39-40, 44,54, 11:24, 12:48
d. Latter years: Ezek 38:8
e. Time of the end: Dan 8:17
f. End of time: Dan 12:4
g. End time: Dan 12:9
h. End of the age: Dan 12:3
All of these terms are related to Israel... in Israel’s thought and in the terminology related to Israel, all of these terms relate to the end of the Jewish age and what they will go through in terms of judgments and in terms of various disturbances that give birth to the Messianic Age. So we have one set of terminology that is distinct to Israel. In Jewish and Old Testament thought, all of this turmoil that we call the Tribulation takes place at the end of the present age in the process of giving birth to the Messianic Age. We have the terminology birth pangs in numerous passages related to the Tribulation period.
TERMS RELATED TO THE CHURCH:
We must distinguish between the last days of the Church Age and the last days of Israel’s tribulation.
a. Later times: I Tim 4:1
b. Last days: James 5:3, II Tim 3:1, Heb 1:2, II P 3:3
c. Last times: I P 1:20
d. Last time: I P 1:5, Jude 18
e. Last hour: I J 2:18
All of these phrases refer to the entire Church Age. Folks ask if we are in the end times. The question is, whose end times?
… If you are alive in the Church Age, you are in the last days. I Tim 4:1
… In the New Testament, these terms refer to the entirety of the Church Age. Heb 1:2 If you were in the 2nd century you were in the last times. If you were in the 20th century you were in the last times.
… Thus this refers biblically to the last period in God’s timetable before the coming of the Messianic Age, also called the Millennial Kingdom. (The tribulation is the end of the Age of Israel.)
… In Jewish thought their last days would end with a series of judgments terminating the present age and inaugurating the Messianic Age.
Deuteronomy 4:30 “When you are in distress, and all these things come upon you in the latter days, when you turn to the LORD your God and obey His voice
Distress refers to the tribulation. “Latter days” is when Israel finally calls on the Lord.

Are We Living in the Last Days?

Thanks for posting this. I don’t see anything I disagree with.
Paul was the Apostle unto the Gentiles. But more so, the church age Dispensation.
Since 1948 I think it’s safe to say God has been transitioning His focus back to the Jews for the stated purpose you addressed. (Romans chp 11)
I do believe we are approaching midnight on the church age Dispensation and the focus will then be on the 7 year tribulation in order to cause Israel to realize they Crucified their Messiah 2,000 years ago, and will return at the end of that tribulation period with the ones that have been raptured.
And then shall the Kingdom be established.
Zechariah 13:6
King James Version
6 And one shall say unto him, What are these wounds in thine hands? Then he shall answer, Those with which I was wounded in the house of my friends.
Mark Hitchcock demonstrated, with such irrefutable clarity, that Saddam Hussein’s Iraq was the Babylon of John’s Revelation reborn. It must be true, since Mr. Hitchcock learned this from the Bible, right?
As long as credulous simpletons keep buying that purple kool-ade, fortune-tellers and prognosticators will keep churning it out. Some even recycle their books the way Tugboat Hal recycles his marriages: new names, new faces, same old plot.

~~~ IN THE BLEACHERS ~~~
We can see Psalms 2 and 110 in accelerated demonstration. Soviet Communism came from nothing to ruling over 1/3 of the earth’s population in one generation — then collapsed, imploded in on itself. The Great King added that that fairly significant point to the scoreboard, and the game resumed. Players in the game, such as Bulgarian scholar and leader Bojidar Marinov, were ready for their opportunity, and took advantage of it. His flavor of Christians (Reformed, post-millennial) became known as the people who had credible answers and hope for real-world issues.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sat and watched.
In China, as the flaws in the Communist gospel became obvious, faithful Christians multiplied. House churches thrived and multiplied under persecution, and a few tens of thousands became more than a hundred million in a single generation. One small American church (Reformed, post-millennial) launched a teaching ministry that equipped and encouraged Chinese leaders who were responsible for 20 million people.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sat and watched.
In America, the legal culture, taking its cues from the fundamentalist disregard for the future, cut off America’s future by forcing human sacrifice on on all 50 states. The catalytic case happened in the backyard of Dallas Theological Seminary, and they completely missed the significance of the event.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sat and watched.
In America, soon thereafter, a new reformation began, quietly, under the radar, as millions of parents applied God’s Word afresh to a neglected sphere. People suddenly realized that attendance at the American state churches was NOT mandatory, and not even particularly helpful. And maybe it was a sin to render unto Caesar that which is God’s, the children entrusted to their care.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sat and watched.
In Iran, thousands upon thousands of Muslims saw what an Islamic republic looked like, and decided that they liked the Great King’s game much better.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sat and watched — when they weren’t screaming for war with Iran, while giving a free pass to the one power in the area that has a nuclear arsenal.
In Africa, more than a million Muslims a year walked away from Islam and became Christians.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sat and watched. Some desperately pinned their perverted hopes upon a yearned-for upsurge in Islam, since the Soviet Union had so disappointed them.
Today, wise Christians in America deprive the state church and the state religion of the resource it most desperately needs, the hearts, minds, bodies, and souls of their children. They work to strengthen local and personal alternatives to federal programs, and imagine a day when the power centers of America’s state religion (smarmy militant humanism) lose all power.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sit and watch.
Wise Christians in America study the languages of Muslim nations, reach out to Muslim neighbors, and pray for God to raise up people movements in those regions. After all, the Great King is still in the game, and Islam is in His sights, perhaps before, perhaps after, He takes out America’s state cult. Either way, wise Christians want to be in on what God is up to.
Meanwhile, in the bleachers, the soothsayers sit and watch. And die out, never achieving anything, because they never get into the game. Or maybe they’re just too busy playing with their crossword puzzles while sitting in the bleachers to even notice the game going on right under their noses.
(I lost a five-year chunk of my life to apocalyptic hysteria, so my impatience with “prophecy teaching” might show!)
In the last days shall be scoffers. Mocking the Word of God because they lost faith.
2’nd Peter 3:3-5
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
They loved to sit in the bleachers casting stones at those who patiently awaited His return.
They were bitter at those who remained faithful. Rightly dividing the Word of God and encouraging others not to lose faith, neither to be deceived by those in the bleachers.
One day soon that Trumpet will sound and the faithful will be caught up. leaving the scoffers who confused Bible Prophecy with soothsayers. All because they lost faith.
One day scoofers will find themselves having to choose between life and death when faced with a choice. The choice of having to recieve a mark in the right hand or forehead in order to buy or sell.
What will be the choice made by those who were deceived?
As they find themselves on the bleachers?
2’nd Peter 3:3-5
3 Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts,
4 And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation.
5 For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water:
Before these days one had to use their imagination to figure out how the beast and the antichrist would come to be. And how they would be worshiped. In these days imagination is not really required so much.
2 Peter is not given you exactly 1 day with the Lord = 1000 years.
The number 1000 is used in the Bible as a synonym for “too many to count”
examples:
1. Joshua 23:10 - “One of you routs a thousand”
2. 1 Samuel 21:11 - “Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands”
3. Job 9:3 “they could not answer him one time out of a thousand.”
4. Ecclesiastes 7:28 “I found one upright man among a thousand, “
5. Psalm 50:10 “The Lord owns cattle on a thousand hills”
We must keep in mind that God is beyond space and time while we live within space and time.
Note that 2 Peter 3 goes both ways - that 1 day in heaven is as a thousand years on earth and 1000 years in heaven is as 1 day on earth —> it’s a simple fisherman trying to wrestle with a place outside of space and time.
