I wonder if Japan’s landing will be created by Bollywood too?

“ I wonder if Japan’s landing will be created by Bollywood too?”

It’s already created. It will be released when the time is right. Russia refused to pay full price, so they didn’t get the video and had to say theirs crash landed.

I’ve surmised for years. You shouldn’t have a craft on the moon at the full moon or new moon. Data exchange is greatly challenged due to the sun’s noise being within the band of transmission in one direction or the other.
Best time is what the Indian’s did — first quarter or last quarter.
Maybe the Russian’s tried to ‘beat’ India there and Russia’s were close to the new moon timeframe.
Japan is approaching this at the full moon. I predict failure.

History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man.

I just checked on my copy of SkySafari, and you are right- when Apollo 11 landed on the Moon in July 20, 1969, the Moon was at 1st quarter.

But, I hope the Japanese are successful, anyway. If they are, perhaps they’ll be more forthcoming with pictures than the Indian space program.

This is just a part of the Global deception on the masses. Either that, or the Moon is, in fact local and not 230,000 miles away, among other issues.
