I maintain that the “Russian election interference” claimed in 2016 was Russia discovering election machine hacking by DS and the democrat party, and prevented key acts which would probably have let Hillary sail to victory. It explains Hillary’s extreme confidence that she was going to win and the retribution directed both at Trump AND Russia. For the 2020 election they used a combination of election machine shenanigans and ballot stuffing to guarantee he wasn’t elected. Then came Putin taking the bait in Uke land and the rest is history.

Think also back to BHO making fun of Trump at the dinner where he said "at least I was president". Trump's election putting him on par with BHO needed to be put back in its place. They are fully capable of doing the same thing for persecution of their enemies, and they are certainly more than willing to do so.
Why add unnecessary and unlikely layers of complexity?
This is the $64,000 question. I guess adjusted for inflation today it’s be the $2.6 million question.
Theory 1: Soros. He’s def an influence, but I don’t think he has the time, effort, or energy to get into the weeds. He appoints/manipulates others.
Theory 2: some globalist forces. Possible. I’ve never liked international conspiracies. If anything, they fail when tried (see: W W I and the attempt of the monarchs to prevent.)
Theory 3: Close-contact cabals inside the US, likely a “green” cabal, an “intel” cabal, and a “transoid/homo cabal.” This makes sense in that a representative of each could whisper in Zero’s/Rutabaga’s ear exactly what they want done. But it also makes sense that no one gets all they want because they are competing with each other. That explains the herkyjerky movement of policies, sometimes the homo policy shows a growth spurt, sometimes the green policy.
