Ukraine’s Powerful 82nd Brigade, Once Held In Reserve, Has Finally Joined The Counteroffensive

The Ukrainian air assault forces finally have deployed their most powerful unit. The 2,000-person 82nd Air Assault Brigade, which is stacked with Marder and Stryker fighting vehicles and Challenger 2 tanks, rolled into action around Robotyne, in southern Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia Oblast, apparently in the last few days.

The deployment is good and bad news for Kyiv’s long-anticipated counteroffensive, which kicked off with a series of coordinated assaults across southern and eastern Ukraine starting on June 4.

So here we are supposed to believe that Ukraine having been attacked two years ago, has only just now decided to fight back. After they have gotten billions in weapons and materiel and have thrown thousands of their young men into battle. They must have had thousands of them dead e or be maimed. Not to mention all of the smart ones who could afford to leave and are living elsewhere in the world right now.

It’s like getting beaten to a pulp by a bully and suddenly deciding that you can heroically stand up and start fighting back with such fervor that you will just win. This only happens in movies.
