Not sure if they know exactly what bikes are used for in the gang communities of Chicago. Its not exercise or getting to school or work. Normally its scouting. You go through or near another gang block. You are a runner for drug sales. A guy sits on a corner. Someone hands him money and he sends the runner to get drugs. That way you can’t lose the main load if the sale is a robbery or bust. So of course its dangerous to be on a bike in the hood. But it has nothing to do with race. If you are black, the gang next to you is just as likely to be black. And they will kill you just the same as the Mexicans will.

The only black adults riding bikes in our city do so late at night; almost always wearing dark clothes with no lights or reflective materials on their bikes. Most ride around their neighborhoods, buying and/or selling drugs.

It’s a lot more difficult to build bike lanes in congested areas and neighborhoods where you need on-street parking.

How can anyone discuss Blacks getting killed on bicycles, Blacks having auto accidents or Blacks murdering each other, without mentioning Black I.Q.s?
I’m a serious cyclist and all of the very stupid things I’ve seen people on bikes do, were done by Blacks.
In many cases, people ride bikes because they have lost their drivers licenses, due to DUI/substance abuse. Such people may also be at higher risk of getting in the way of traffic.

Los Angeles recently "decriminalized" jay walking b/c too many blacks were getting jay walking tickets.
Upshot? More blacks walking in the streets hit by cars. This is blamed on racism by the local media.
Everything thought generated in the narrow, propaganda fueled brain of a liberal is centered on race. It’s much more convenient than actually thinking. When your brain has only two active cells, you must use them wisely.
More black on black crime, the only place I have ever seen black people riding bicycles is in major urban areas.
With the generalities and broad-brushing this reads like a high school or junior college theme paper for an English or sociology class or an essay for a grant application.
