-Earlier, the Russian attack on Chernihiv was condemned by presidents of Moldova and Estonia, as well as the US Secretary of State.
-Viacheslav Chaus, Head of the Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration, reported that the number of people injured in the Russian ballistic missile attack on the city of Chernihiv rose to 148.
-On the morning of 19 August, at 11:30, the Russian forces launched a missile attack on the Chernihiv Music and Drama Theatre, when a gathering of drone manufacturers and aerial reconnaissance training schools was being held there as part of the Liuti Ptashky (Angry Birds) demo day.

Ukrainians LAUNCH SURPRISE ATTACK & SINK 3 RUSSIAN BOATS ON THE RIVER | Ukraine War Update
Today Ukrainian forces opened the hunting season all over Ukraine and the Black Sea, starting from the southern front lines.
The attacks on 2 Russian warships 237 km southwest of Sevastopol last night with 3rd generation naval drones continued in Novorossiysk in the early morning with wild explosions.
By midday, fear, anxiety and panic enveloped Moscow. As a result of the unidentified drone attack on Moscow, Putin made a desperate decision to close all Moscow airports. The terrified Russian people were everywhere. Putin had to evacuate the people of Moscow from risky areas.
The most critical developments of the day took place on the Zaphorizhia - Kherson line. The Ukrainians’ ingenious strategy put the Russian troops in a dead-end maze starting from Zaporizhia to Kherson and even to the Crimean peninsula.
While tank and trench clashes were raging in Zaporizhia, the Ukrainians began to show unimaginable naval activity in the Kherson-Dnipro direction. Russian troops, especially in the area of the islands in Kherson, were on high alert and taking counter-attack measures after the latest Ukrainian landing operation with boats.
The cost of this operation was quite heavy for Russia.
It was estimated that more than a hundred Russian soldiers were destroyed after the Ukrainians’ dramatic operation on the islands in the direction of Kherson.
After the Ukrainians carried out a landing operation in this area with boats, they managed to escape from the area where the islands in Kherson were located, with their comrades-in-arms bringing reinforcement boat groups.
So in Dnipro, Ukrainian forces had already opened the big hunting season. That is why, especially in recent days, Russian occupation forces have been patrolling the islands in the Dnipro delta in the Kherson region.
For these reconnaissance trips, the Russians are using boats from the local population. Russian forces are also trying to search houses in the direction of Hola Prystan and Kinburnska spit and to prevent the actions of resistance groups.
The reason for this is that the Russians want to prevent partisan groups supporting Kiev from sharing the coordinates of Russian troops in Dnipro with Ukrainian marines. As soon as the Russian coordinates in Dnipro fall into the hands of the Ukrainians, you can imagine the consequences.
But despite all these efforts of the Russians, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue to sink Russian boats in midnight operations in the cool waters of Dnipro.
Most recently in Dnipro, Ukrainian naval forces and naval commando units managed to send 3 Russian boats to the bottom of the cool waters of the river.
This critical news was reported by Nataliya Humenyuk, the head of the joint press center of the Ukrainian Southern Operational Command.
Ukrainian boat units allegedly sank all three Russian boats in critical areas southwest of the Oleshky-Antonivka bridge, in the direction of Hola Prystan and on the left bank of Dnipro.
The Russians were preparing for an offensive operation in these areas. However, with the Ukrainians destroying 3 Russian boats and taking more than 20 Russian soldiers out of action, Moscow’s offensive action plan seems to have been suspended for a certain period of time.
From Hola Prystan to Kinburn Spit, we are witnessing a noticeable withdrawal of Russian troops. In these critical areas, the Russians prefer to take a defensive position in order to be alert against possible surprise Ukrainian attacks.
In Kherson, the Russian troops are in a much more challenging situation. It was here that the Ukrainians last destroyed the Russian electronic intelligence complex.
After this critical loss, Russian troops are following a timid strategy in the direction of Kherson.
Currently, the initiative in this region still seems to be in Kiev’s hands. The presence of small Russian assault groups does not pose much of a problem for the Ukrainian army at the moment.
In fact, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive against the peninsula despite the presence of these small Russian attack groups in the strategic terrain stretching from Kherson to Crimea.
Recently, the Russian patrol frigate Pytlivy and patrol ship Vasily Bykov were attacked by naval drones about 250 kilometers off the Crimean port city of Sevastopol.
Following this attack, the unmanned naval drones were reportedly destroyed by fire from two Russian ships.
However, the Russian authorities in Crimea did not clarify whether the drones damaged the Russian patrol frigate Pytlivy and the patrol ship Vasily Bykov.
Ukrainian sources claim that both ships were hit by naval drones.

As a result of the Russian terrorist attack on the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station, 11 out of 28 spans of the dam’s upper part were destroyed, and 150 tonnes of oil leaked from the power station’s engine room. The shipping lock and the earthen dam between the hydroelectric power station building and the shipping lock on the right bank were completely destroyed.
The footage posted online shows a destroyed spillway dam. Some structures have completely gone underwater, Censor.NET reports.
