This is the moment a hero customer stopped a man robbing a Michigan minimart by shooting the suspect - while carrying a six-pack of Miller Lite beer.
The incident occurred on July 27 when suspect Cordelius Anthony Martin, 35, armed himself with a boxcutter and tried to rob Stone Lake Marathon's cash registry.
The unnamed customer, who had a valid concealed carry permit, promptly took out his handgun and fired seven shots at the suspect.
The customer then held the man at gunpoint until law enforcement arrived. It is not yet clear whether he will face criminal charges for the intervention.
Martin, entered the store announcing 'you know why I'm here' before pulling a mask over his face. He threatened the store clerk with the box cutter, cops said.
The customer told law enforcement he could not see what the robber was holding but saw the fear on the clerk's face, Wood TV reported.
The man fired the shots, one hitting a liquor bottle with others catching the robber in the arm, back and face.
The customer told police the suspect fell to the floor but was crawling toward him.
He therefore ran to his car to get another loaded magazine and held the suspect at gun point until officers arrived.
The suspect was released from hospital on Wednesday and arraigned on three charges, including armed robbery.

Needs more range time.
The criminal lived. Which means he’ll sue the shooter for tens of millions. Even if the shooter wins (uncertain), he’ll have to pay tens of thousands in attorney fees to defend himself.
Just another brother of Obeyme.
sounds like communist woke speak, tear down the armed man that came to a victis defense.
Agree.
I thought only the TV shows had the bad guy still crawling to get to the .45 to shoot the Chicago PD or Blue Bloods cop.
Probably not … Cass county is not one of the D strongholds.
The shooter should sue the criminal for emotional distress.
It could have been just a wee bit better…
But no bud light.
After looking at the prep, all I can say to the shooter, you’re gonna need a bigger gun.
He hit the dude 3 times, and he was soon released from the hospital. Was the hero using a BB gun?
Cassopolis, Michigan (pop: 1704) definitely qualifies as “Try That In A Small Town”
2. Shooting "gangster", not using sights.
3. Thank goodness he wasn't carrying Bud Lite".
I am disappointed the thief is not dead but kuddos to the man with the weapon.
I wonder where those involved are from this part of MI is close to Indiana and Chicago along with a number of universities?
“He should of asked for the security tape and left.”
This would have worked in 1989, but not now. Today, the video often goes straight to the cloud.
To those griping about the size of the hero’s gun, I would say it was sufficient for the task. It looks like a Ruger LCP .380 with a Crimson Trace laser. It’s a handy pocket gun, but it does have its limitations.
It is 1000% better than nothing.
EC
He has a Roman nose
He left his elephant gun at home.
He really likes his beer!...........................
