A viral video showing a group of friends fighting over an expensive birthday dinner bill has sparked a heated debate about splitting the cheque.
A U.S. content creator from Atlanta, Georgia, posted a clip of his friend’s birthday dinner descending into chaos after the group received a $4,600 bill at the end of the night.
The video poster named Viccgotti can be seen animatedly arguing that he should not have to split the enormous bill for his friend’s meal, instead arguing he should only pay for what he ate.
But the woman who is celebrating her birthday suggests she expects her friends to also cover her meal.
It’s my f***ing birthday, why the f*** should I have to pay for something on my birthday?’ she demands to know.
“But if we come together, we split the bill, period,” another girl yells defensively.
However, another disagreed and taking to his feet said: “You got lamb chop, you got steak, look at all they got and they talk about splitting the bill.”
“Ya’ll ordering way too much and then want to split the bill.”
(snip)
“We ended up calling the waiter over and I told him ‘don’t split nothing for me, they can split if they want to but we’re not here for that’”.

Keepin' it classy in Hotlanta...
Would be fun to see what, if any, kind of tip was left for the beleaguered servers.
Why not split it...they probably vote that way anyway.
How did I know it would be teenz just from the headline?
These people....🤦♀️
WTF did they order to run up that tab? Raid the bar top shelf?
My friends and I learned how to split a check at Mitzi’s Sub Shop when I was about 11 or 12.
When will these people figure it out? When their illegitimate kids outgrow Chuckie Cheese?
Lottsa crab legs
... the usual suspects ...
Maybe 50 bucks would be my guess. From everything I have heard black people are notorious bad tippers.
Yep. Just what I expected to see.
I already know the answer, but did those mutts leave a 15% or 20% tip?
Well I’m sure however it worked out, the waitstaff received very generous tips.
(Oh I crack myself up)
“usual suspects”
Yup—conflict resolution is not one of their strengths.
Nor is planning in advance who should pay for what...
lol.
The entitlement never ends
Probably going to be the JURORS in Atlanta for the Donald Trump trial.
The older couple (with way more money than us) ordered nice meals, and LOTS of drinks of the nicest booze.
When it came time to pay the bill the older woman said “Let's just split it down the middle to make it easy”. Being young and it being a co-worker of my wife we did just that.
We were both pretty steamed when we got into our own car. “Well - we still had a nice time. And we should have figured out the payment terms ahead of time. From now on though, lets not go out to dinner with them!”
“From everything I have heard black people are notorious bad tippers.”
I think they were right the whole time...given that tips now START at 20%. I’ve certainly limited my tipping, and eliminated it in many cases.
I hear that Canadians don’t tip very well.
