Calling all Buc-ee's fanatics! Boy, do we have the dream job for you.

If you frequent the Texas staple, and love their snacks, why not get paid to review them?

FinanceBuzz is looking for the "ultimate road-trip warrior" to taste and rate iconic snacks from Buc-ee’s. They'll be picking one "Buc-ee's Bud-ee," who will be tasked with taste testing 25 of their popular foods. The selected Buc-ee's Bud-ee will be paid $1,000 for their efforts, plus $250 to cover the cost of snacks and merch.

To be eligible, you must live near (or be willing to travel to) a Buc-ee’s location, and be willing to try almost any snack they offer. Some of the items they’ll have you sample include:

Buc-ee’s Beaver Nuggets Sweet and savory kolaches Hippo tacos Barbecue sandwiches Buc-ee’s Lemon Crisps Homemade fudge Buc-ee’s Gummi Bears Banana pudding Biscuits and gravy

Yum, now cover it in dark chocolate. I must say that Buc-ee’s Overbites have a better tasting peanut butter than Reese’s. But I still love Reese’s. That looks like a frisbee, yum!

Thanks for that news, we pass thru Bowling Green on the way to visit my MIL. I will not stop until it has been open at least 3 months. We do have the stores figured out, so we can get in and out efficiently. Love the brisket.

It will be at Exit 38 off I-65, the Smiths-Grove exit just north of Bowling Green, Ky. It’s under construction now. Expected to open around next January 2024.

That’s one exit north of the Corvette plant and museum IIRC?

So mid-Spring for me! Let the newness for the locals wear off a little.

I remember when that plant site was a shuttered Chrysler Airtemp factory.

This one is set for 54,000 sq ft, 116 gas pumps, 565 parking spots on 31 acres, and they claim will add 200 jobs to that area.
