My name is John Yyyyy, I am a member there. A while back I noticed a man who is “transitioning” to appear female leading a group of young children. Obviously he was overseeing them.
I view these poor children and adults who have chosen this way of life as victims frankly who need therapy. Not to delude them into thinking they can literally change their sex, but therapy to work on the underlying problems causing them to doubt one of life’s most basic truths.
I have spoken to this young man a couple of times, always in a friendly, thoughtful manner. I would stop anyone harassing him if I saw it. Generally I smile and just say hello. I would not dream of confronting him as I view him as having pretty serious emotional issues. He should be treated in a compassionate way. You may not be aware but these children being convinced to mutilate their bodies via dangerous drug treatments and even surgeries are about twenty times more likely to commit suicide. Indeed Sweden, one of the pioneers in such treatments has banned any treatment of children under 16. The UK and other European nations have decided to do the same.
I understand the pressures being placed on organizations such as the one you lead to conform. However, what is very disturbing is the potential for harming other young children in a radical cultural phenomenon of thinking gender is fluidic. In all fairness to the many families whom put trust in your organization it is apparent that you either inform families of your policy to have transgender staff working with the children or, preferably find meaningful work for such individuals that does not put them in close contact.
What we will most likely see as this threat to our children increases is parents will push back including lawsuits against those who push this on their children. It will be wise to be open and transparent about your policies with the community you serve.
I trust you are a decent man and I hope my letter gives you some incentive to contemplate this very difficult situation you are in. I do not envy you, but I think with the time honored ethics of openness the YMCA can find compassionate, to all sides, solutions to wade through this.

You are too gentle.
A fault common in modern Christianity.
When faced by sin, hypocrisy or demons, Jesus was aggressive and direct...he was not gentle with evil.
The young man you reference is depraved.
He is damaged and damaging others.
He is at the YMCA to groom, access and find release for his depraved lusts in children and other “bathhouse beauties”.
If he repents, and makes best efforts to sin no more, Jesus would embrace him....even heal him.
If he continues to glory in his sin, and find tender enablers, those enablers in their compassion consign his soul to alienation from Jesus and ultimately Hell.
Pray and petition he is stopped from dragging innocents down with him.

I think an important thing all adults can do and would likely help, though not immediately, is if they step up each and every time they see something that is perversely or similarly effecting a child.
whether they have children or not, or got done raising their kids or whatever age person you are just get involved.
Someone preserved the decent or semi decent world you got brought up in, it’s adults obligation now to put effort into correcting the wrongs we’ve gotten into lately.
Even if your eyes weren’t open til recently, great, now’s the time to do some thing!
I see and hear too many people say “well, I raised, mine, let the others figure it out” or “I don’t want to step on toes”.
It’s about the children, all children.
Slogans like:
YOU’RE NOT GAY!
You’re acting out trauma and fantasy.
Too Nice.

every nicety afforded these things ensures their tucked in like a wombat!
nothing less than root and stem, every single one of them.
