The much-hyped cage match between tech rivals Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk appears to be on ice.
Zuckerberg, Meta’s CEO, said Sunday he believes Musk, owner of X, formerly Twitter, isn’t serious about facing him in a mixed martial arts fight and should let it go nearly two months after trash talk surrounding the possible showdown began.

I’d rather see Zuckerberg vs. the Winklevoss twins, or other people he stole Facebook from.
And Zuckerberg was serious or seriously thought Musk was serious?
Mark Zuckerberg is afraid of fighting an African.
I suppose some here are interested and are rooting for Musk. There was a similar thing in Canada before Turdough became PM. Turd and some conservative politician went into the ring for a boxing bout. Turd won. I know its hard to believe but I guess he could move around the ring pretty well and the conservative was not a good boxer for whatever reason.
Could it turn into more of a farce than Ali vs Inoki? Anyone remember this?

If Musk “accidentally” killed Zuckerberg in the cage match he would be doing the world a big favor. Just saying : )

Musk has been tweeting like it is real, and he says the proceeds will go to a charity.
Musk has stated he will need neck or back surgery to protect a previous injury before he can schedule the match with Zuckerberg.
Too bad more things aren’t settled by single combat anymore.

This fight is a bad idea for Musk. He has the size advantage but Schmuckerburg has been martial arts training for years. Training usually beats size.
I had a history teacher in junior high school. He was a Viet Nam SOG vet and wrestling coach. He said, “I catch any of you two fighting during school hours I’m going to break it up and keep you after school to finish it.”
And Zuckerberg is serious about an actual cage match? What a putz it must be to beleive in your own super-hero hyperbole.
“When my father went to school. he would tell us when kids fought they’re be told to go too see the coach at the Gym. The coach would referee the fight.”
Back in the thirties when my dad was in school “coach” would not only referee the fight - the school athletic department would provide the boxing gear.
And Zuck is younger. So another advantage for him.
Good thing they're calling it off.
