Got any studies showing the prevalence of these issues in people?
(I have an article of a retrospective review of Ivermectin long before COVID, covering over 120 million cases, which shows a severe adverse effect rate of 1/800,000.)
Genetic testing has been too hard to get. Even now insurance companies don’t want to pay for it for P450 issues.
There is absolutely no doubt in my mind that many people have the issue and have no clue.
A p-glycoprotein issue causes an issue with ivermectin crossing the blood brain barrier. If it can cause it with that drug it certainly could do it with other drugs.
This is really an evolving state in medicine. For example..they have just really started indicating plaquenil could be an issue for people with p450 problems
My advice is if you have had problems with a drug ..get the whole genome test. Don’t rely on Doctors to figure it out. A good place to look to see how drugs are metabolized and what could interact even if you have no genetic issues is the drug bank website.
Here is an example. Parkinson and alzheimers have been possibly linked to a Cyp2d6 issue. Of course I am sure there are other issues. It would be interesting to know if Michael j fox has the genetic fault in cyp2d6. Cyp2d6 is one of the big enzymes used in drug processing but because it also helps clear toxins in the brain a faulty gene makes you susceptible. One faulty gene from one parent is enough to cause a problem but if you get it from both you could have ZERO functioning Cyp2d6
Here is another way to think about this...if you take too much ivermectin the pumps get overwhelmed and can’t pump it out so it crosses brain barrier...
But the same thing can happen if you have genetic mutations that cause problems with the pumping..like I have.
How rare are these mutations...who knows.but given how not one single doctor thought to check me for drug mutations I would say more common that scientists know.
And now that we know I have PAGES of drug mutations genes..no Doctor I have has dealt with them before.
I am disgusted with the medical paradigm
