Have you seen or talked to any covid "bitter clingers" in 2023, just throwing the Obama phrase right back at them.
I still see a few people wearing masks alone in the car and in the supermarket
Many “Bitter Clingers” now know they were scammed but most will never admit it. Some are even mad about it.
The older folks weren’t nearly as all-consumingly propagandized through their youth.
Covid—or a cold or the flu?
A massive amount of evidence to suggest the “pandemic” was concocted without need of a pathogen. The jab is another story, but there’s no way for a mask to protect you from that.
Walgreens expects to close 150 locations in the United States and 300 locations in the United Kingdom, Walgreens Boots Alliance CFO James Kehoe said in the company's earnings call this week, CNN reported. The pharmacy chain reported lower earnings on Tuesday compared to the same quarter last year - $118 million, or 14 cents a share, compared to $289 million, or 33 cents a share, a year ago. The company is facing muted consumer spending and a pullback in demand for COVID vaccines.
CEO Rosalind Brewer said the company was increasing its cost-savings efforts to $4.1 billion and "taking immediate actions to optimize profitability for our US healthcare segment."
Kehoe told analysts the company will have saved $3.3 billion by the end of this year, and is projecting to save "at least" $800 million in 2024. These store closures are part of its cost-cutting effort.
Kehoe said the company also eliminated more than 500 roles, or around 10% of its corporate and US office support workforce. Technology and its plans to build the "pharmacy of the future" will further drive savings, he said.
"We are optimizing the model through our micro fulfillment centers, tech-enabled centralization of in-store activities and telepharmacy solutions," Kehoe said.
Yep. I see a few very elderly people still wearing, but probably more seemingly perfectly healthy very young people. Outdoors. Alone. Nobody else around. Mask on. Idiots, that’s all.
Yes, and it seems like lazy parenting is rampant. Parents (probably mommy only…🤦♂️) don’t talk to their kids about what they’ve learned in school for the day and ask questions and then actively teach their own kids anymore. Sad. Yeah, I’ve still got 2 in school.
Sad to see some of the comments on this thread.
Unless someone is stopping to ask someone -WHY- they are wearing a mask - there’s lots of presuming about it being due to COVID-19.
Allergies, particulates due to smoke, etc are all valid reasons to wear a mask.
But many posters on this thread just make the assumption it’s due to COVID-19.
That’s probably due to either ignorance, willful ignorance, or perhaps low intellect.
People making assumptions without asking someone why they are wearing a mask aren’t intellectual titans.
That’s good. I read an article of companies that were going out of business in 2023 and Walgreen’s was one of them..
I just saw it on a news app. Apparently CoVID is coming back and they are all in chicken little mode lecturing on vaccines again.
If there is one good thing that I would like to see continue is having hand sanitizer available when one takes a shopping cart. That was a little known vector for disease before covid and I think it helped better than masks and the vax. May that continue in a completely volunteer fashion.
In 2019, I can count on one finger, the number of people who wore a mask.
Okay. I’ve seen multiple people in this area wear them for years. I’d say it’s about the same/slightly higher now vs. pre COVID-19.
I didn't, it was only after the Fauci induced panic> Before March 2020, nobody wore masks.
