Bullock met Randall when he photographed her son's birthday party in 2015. They started dating shortly after.
Sandra Bullock's longtime partner, Bryan Randall, has died after a private battle with ALS, his family revealed on Monday. According to a statement obtained by Yahoo Entertainment, the photographer — who started dating the Oscar-winning actress in 2015 — "passed away peacefully" over the weekend. He was 57.
"It is with great sadness that we share that on Aug. 5, Bryan Randall passed away peacefully after a three-year battle with ALS," his family shared. "Bryan chose early to keep his journey with ALS private and those of us who cared for him did our best to honor his request. We are immensely grateful to the tireless doctors who navigated the landscape of this illness with us and to the astounding nurses who became our roommates, often sacrificing their own families to be with ours," his family added. The Randall family concluded, "At this time we ask for privacy to grieve and to come to terms with the impossibility of saying goodbye to Bryan."

Sad.
She always seems like a pretty normal person.
RIP.
Well other than marrying Jessie James… that kind of set off the red flags
I don’t think she’s much of actress but at one time she was really cute.
I wonder how many times her ex-husband has kicked himself in the butt for cheating on her. Why would anyone want to cheat on Sandra Bullock?
ALS is just a nasty, evil disease. Your body becomes your prison.
I disagree. I think she’s one of the best actresses ever; in the current crop anyway!
“”ALS is just a nasty, evil disease.””
So, so true! Horrible!
I’ll always appreciate her for Demolition Man.
Took my mom. Awful and cruel disease.
My mom used to say she’d rather have any disease than dementia.
She got ALS instead, and it took her in 5 months. She told me that it worse than anything she could have imagined. She was so claustrophobic and she asked my sister and I to move some part of her body every few minutes. It was just horrific for her.
My FiL recently died of dementia, after dx 10 years ago.
Of the two, I would say in the later stages, ALS Is harder on the sufferer, while dementia is harder on the loved ones. Both were very hard, though.
Well if she is already in the market I'm available and I come cheep.
Never seen Demolition Man.I’ve only seen her in “The Net”.Maybe I shouldn’t judge her on one film.
She’s a little young for me but she certainly wouldn’t have to beg me! ;-)
Does that mean she’s available? Perhaps I now have a shot? :-)
Agreed. I wouldn't wish either on anyone, but my mom had dementia. Near the end it was a 24/7 nightmare.
It is an evil disease. You are trapped inside a body that shuts down piece by piece and there is nothing you can do.
God bless his soul and I hope God holds him close.
I liked her in Practical Magic.
Poor guy and poor Sandra. I’m sure she will feel that loss a long time.
