So sad but wish in a way we had more stories like this.
Am glad this little girl got her wish.

I know very little about leukemia. Is it painful?

Why are kids still dying of leukemia ? The vast majority can be cured by chemo and most of those that relapse can be cured by CAR-T. CAR-T unfortunately however costs half a million dollars

My heart goes you to that young lady, but I kind of wonder how young “DJ” will deal with this. Perhaps it is harmless and he’ll simply feel the grief of loosing someone close.

This was a very wonderful thing for Emma. Good thing it wasn’t a legal wedding because the poor young boy would be responsible for her medical bills.

Walnut Cove is near Winston-Salem, the home of the Brenner Children’s Hospital. A friend’s child had his childhood leukemia treated there. The kid’s living at the beach now.

Very touching and, I have great hopes for that good young man. Not every ten year-old boy would have taken part so willingly.

DJ is more of a man than many I know.
May our Lord bless him and his love Emma’s family.
May all their days be a blessing to Him.

A truly heartbreaking story that brought a flood of tears to my eyes. I’m glad she got her wish, but so sad it had to be this way. She is out of her pain and struggle now. At least she had a loving family surrounding her.

Emma wanted to get married, be a wife and have three kids.I hope she didn't get all that as a 10 year old.

Beautiful but sad story.
This girl's story is a touching reminder that life is fleeting.
I'm glad she was able to make the most out of the short time she had, and marry her soul mate.
God bless this child, and all who loved her.

It is a beautiful story yet heartbreaking. This young lady should still be with us, I mean we can land a man on the Moon (I think so now but we did 50 years ago) but this stuff still happens. It hurts me to see children like this who will never experience driving a car, going to the prom, having a family, etc. What really burns me is that we have POS'es like George Soros and many others who live a long time and cause trouble and this poor young lady had her life cut short.
I dunno what to think at times, some say curing cancer will take money out of the medical industry. My brother in law (married my step sister) is the #2 guy, the vice chair at Ohio State for cancer research and he really doesn't think that. I do agree. Let's say it puts him out of work, he could be a dang good chef, he makes the best filet minion, roasted duck and swordfish I've ever tasted but I digress. We are getting closer though at least.
