Many big guys with their hands out, like a total eclipse of the sun.

Not even scraps make it to the end user.

All those mega-yachts and mega-palaces cost something. So each time you pass money down for bridges, streets, tanks or artillery...a large chunk of the money went to personal pleasures.

The sad thing is that they’ve burned through the new stuff from the past thirty years, and gone to 1960s/1970s equipment. When the war ends...a total rebuild is required, and more mega-yacht money will be created. It’ll take fifty years to rebuild to 2020 standards.

Just like WWI....

“By the second winter, the boots had worn out... but the line still held. Even Comrade Lenin underestimated both the anguish of that 900-mile long front... as well our own cursed capacity for suffering. Half the men went into action without any arms... irregular rations... led by officers they didn’t trust.” - Yevgraf Zhivago

This is good news! It’s clear that Russia is losing and we can stop giving Ukraine money and military aid then, right?

“with 50 percent of equipment unusable”

Well, that explains the FANTASTIC GAINS by Ukraine in there 2 month plus ‘counteroffensive’. It’s GREAT to see that Russia is now cut-off from Crimea!

Russia’s winning!

No, Russia’s losing!

Ukraine is winning!

No, Ukraine is losing!

If only there was a candidate who wants people to stop dying.

Wake me up when the shooting stops. Till then, I’m praying that people will stop dying.

One senior officer who is apart of reconnaissance unit told him he was give ten armoured vehicles for his soldiers. Of these only five were road worthy, while the other five were not fit for purpose - meaning 50 percent of his equipment could not be used.

Title is a little misleading in that it makes out like this applies to ALL Russian equipment.

It's possible it does, but this story is about one unit.

--- "Russian colonel reveals army on verge of disaster with 50 percent of equipment unusable"

That's great news, if true. The the combined West can stop sending so much materiel and cash amd just wait for the Ruskies to collapse. Time will tell.

The Swamp in the Kremlin is destroying it all for the Russian people. It’s becoming a 3rd world country at the speed of light.

And how is OUR military doing? Has training been cut as under Hussein? Are we still having to repair equipment by using spare parts?

Surely not.....OMG, it’s Russia.

Russia is the greatest nation since sliced Bread. Many Freepers believe Russians walk on water and piss on Trump’s bed.

The story is globalist boogieman propaganda, for sure

Is there a higher foreign policy goal of the USA government right now than them wanting to make sure that the dissemination of information about the Bidens and Burisma are kept peachy? We’ll find out soon whether McCarthy and the House are on-board with this goal once the funding for FY24 is decided.

Personally, I think there should be higher priorities in the US government than keeping the Burisma narrative peachy. For example, the oaths of office by all the Congresscritters on their loyalty to the Constitution.

Notice how the usual suspects immediately attack the journalist conducting the interview, not the interviewee.

Lieutenant colonel Sergei Gulyaev served active duty in Afghanistan. He returned to service to serve in counter terrorism operations in Chechnya. He knows the real state of the Russian military.

Just like Igor Girkin, he is calling out the Russian leadership for its corruption and incompetence and corruption. Just like Girkin, he is attacked for it one way or another.

“The former Lt. Colonel told Express.co.uk that Putin’s army had no chance of winning the war against what he considered to be now the strongest professional army in Europe.”

“He also praised Ukraine’s military boss, General Valerie Zaluzhnyi, saying his army was fighting “ten times more intelligently” than the Russians.”

Sounds like he’s on Ukraine’s payroll.
