An alternate team to root for is the Philippine womens team.
Over half the players are US-born US citizens, the rest are from various other countries, Sweden, New Zealand, etc. And even a few from the Philippines. Its a bit of a “foreign legion”.
But for the most part they are an alternate “US” team.
They are mostly half-Filipino mestizas. And they are much more civilized than the official US team.
Rapinoe puts the bully in bull-dyke.
Question: why doesn’t the PLO kidnap the the USA “women’s” team, ala the 1972 Summer Olympics?
Answer: because no one would pay the ransom. /spit
Why do we have to pay for women’s sports?

The reason they don’t sing is because they are used to not singing. In the US the tradition is for a “performer” to sing the anthem and the crowd and players to listen. Overseas a band or recording plays the music and the crowd and players sing.
Women in general want to “get along” more than men. They are easier to persuade into “group think”. I see this all the time on the two local town Facebook pages I belong. These are smaller suburban towns where one FB page has 7000 members and the other has 1100. The women on these pages do not ever want to disagree with the hive mentality. I would think some graduate in psychology could write their PHD thesis on this phenomena.
I find that men are more willing to go against the grain and make a public statement with what they believe to be correct. The “hive mentality” on Facebook can be absolutely toxic. This is because people on the internet will say things that they would never say in person to another member. In a way it is good because people are actually more willing to speak the truth. It can also be very damaging to vulnerably mental people. Which is why you have to establish rules like we have here on FR.

I think you are mis-remembering things a bit. First, the NFL was in the midst of committing Hari-Kari as they DID NOT condemn the SF49 fool QB when he pulled the kneeling bulljive. Kaper-douche started his schtick in 2016. NFL viewership nosedived afterward. The NFL pulled out of the self-inflicted loss of viewership AFTER they made the teams NOT do on field kneeling. I believe this was in 2018.
The NFL is full of the bullcrap meaningless platitudes on the backs of helmets - End Racism; Stop Hate; Blacklivesmatter; It takes all of us; and so on. The NFL is a shell of its form self. It is garbage.
I also said back when negotiations for Britanny Griner (Jailed in Russia) were going on that Rapinoe needed to be part of the deal. It was a terrible deal that we set the Russian arms dealer (Viktor Bout) free. At least we could have gotten rid of Rapinoe in the deal. Missed opportunity.
I disagree with her philosophy and stance on this country
I recently watched this video on YouTube. The Winston Salem cop that arrested her did not even know who she was until he brought her to the station. Another cop informed him that she was the Olympic and World Cup goalie for the Women's Team. Her real name is Hope Stevens. Which is what was on her drivers license. She is also a very tall attractive woman. Probably 5’ 10” tall. She was as tall as the cop.
I have a couple guys I work with whose daughters played Varsity soccer on our high school team. They actually traveled to watch the woman's US soccer team play somewhere in the US or Montreal a few years ago. So, the people who go to watch them and buy their merchandise are typically the parents of girl soccer players. FYI, even on the girls high school soccer team in my town there were two know lesbian players. One was the best player on the team. She got a college scholarship somewhere. Same story with the girls softball and ski team.

Today’s athletes are in it for themselves. I have ZERO respect for the women’s team, and they need to be eliminated.
I didn’t like American hating commies growing up during the cold war and I don’t like America hating commies now. I hope they lose every game until they throw this stupid blue haired commie off the team.
