they have security over there which is hilarious on the video the guy is just standing there like “Yeah whatever” that mall always has security guards roaming around, no one fears them

The security guard is there merely for show, and everyone knows it. He probably isn't allowed to be armed. He probably was instructed by corporate HQ that he will NOT physically intervene in any event. And everyone also knows if anything "goes wrong" the woke LA DA will charge him instead.

It is in no way 'security'

What exactly do you think the security can do? They can’t shoot em. I suppose they could try to make a “citizen’s arrest” and hold them for the police, but the police will not arrest them, and most likely the police will not even respond.

What can security guards do? Shoot them?

Then the guard would be prosecuted for assault or murder, and Gucci would be sued for tens of millions.

Nothing will change until the law permits armed defense of property.
