JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Two teens have been arrested in a July shooting where a 9-year-old girl was shot in the throat, Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. Waters announced Wednesday.

Where does a 14 and 15 year old get a semi-automatic pistol?............................asking for a friend...................When I lived in Jax the sheriff pleaded with residents to stop leaving their handguns in unlocked cars.

Unbelievably, still happening.
Also, a neighbor had a brand new two day old car stolen a few years ago right out of their driveway overnight......how? Because they left it unlocked with the friggin’ keys in it.
Sometimes I wonder about people. SMH

We have a MLK Blvd here too.
Used to be called ‘Freedom Way’. Was fairly new road when renamed and not much there except trees and a few houses. Was one of the roads to Hurlburt Field part of Eglin AFB. It also connected to a nearby black neighborhood. Several businesses and an apartment complex there now, but still lots of woods.
The local ‘activists’ wanted to rename Eglin Parkway, a main road and lots of businesses on the way to Eglin AFB.
County said ‘No’........................

Moncrief was a no-go area when I lived in Jax..................Yep. They called that part of town the "cease fire triangle" and there was no reason whatsoever to visit.

I have read stories here, allegedly by neonatal nurses, claiming black babies are behaviorally difficult compared to others. I don’t have any experience to confirm this.
