A young Christian man is seen being arrested by police as they preached at a Pride event in Watertown, Wisconsin, in a video clip that has gone viral on social media. The video has so far been viewed more than 2 million times since being posted on the TonyTM Twitter page on Monday.
The event in question was a drag queen event at the Pride in the Park celebration that happened over the weekend, howeverIn the footage, a young man can be heard reading from the bible, speaking into a microphone, before he is surrounded by multiple police officers.

The cops doing this should be fired and prosecuted.
It’s absolutely illegal to violent first amendment rights.
In the meantime, this is what they’re doing in Erie PA. Looks like history repeating itself!
“Erie, Pennsylvania, Declares Itself LGBTQ+ Sanctuary City
The city vows to stand up against any anti-LGBTQ+ laws passed at the county, state, or national level.

*Be it finally resolved that the City of Erie be considered a safe place, a sanctuary, for LGBTQ+ individuals and families.*
We’ll see how long Erie, PA lasts as a sustaining community.
Godless vermin never last long running a city, town, or nation. History proves this over and over.
I agree with the young man’s right to read from the Bible in a public place, but in this instance, it may be seen as
someone disrupting a still legal event.
Disrupting, because he used a microphone only yards away from the so called activity.
If he had been some 100 yards away, and had not amplified his voice, that may have been a distraction, but would be less likely seen as a forced disruption.
Remember to back the blue as they follow orders to kill you for their government masters.
It’s too bad he didn’t detonate a suicide vest. /spit
Portland, Oregon and San Francisco, CA are prime examples of the downhill track.
Sue the city and each officer involved. Carrying out an illegal order is just as criminal as issuing an illegal order. Bankrupt them all.
Maybe they are disrupting his event?
What portion of what he did, in a public setting, outdoors, without incitement to riot or otherwise inflaming bystanders to physically assault the parade goers, was not part of his first amendment right to free speech?

In the footage, a young man can be heard reading from the bible, speaking into a microphone, before he is surrounded by multiple police officers.I guess "before they is surrounded by multiple officers" didn't sound right, even to the woke.
Exactly. Watertown is a conservative city of about 20k in a rural county. It’s definitely not Madison.
So, backing the blue will not protect you even in a conservative area.
I would also bet that if an LGBT type did the same thing at a Christian rally, they wouldn’t be arrested.
When it comes to J-6 protestors or BLM, the police will choose the BLM just about everywhere.
A evangelical church across the street would put up a loudspeaker and I measured over 100 decibels.
Couldn’t even hear someone sitting right next to me.
That’s not preaching, it’s being a jerk.
Yes, I called the city and it hasn’t happened since.
Indeed.
You are correct. The guy’s message was not the problem. He wasn’t arrested for that. The microphone was the problem.
Every municipality has noise ordinances. These ordinances are reasonable and necessary. But here’s the thing. The police should not arbitrarily be able to decide that someone is too loud. There should be some sort of decibel measurement first.
Was that done, and then was the kid warned? If so, this was a good arrest.
If not, it was a bad arrest and I hope the kid sues the heck out of the city.
“..Remember to back the blue as they follow orders to kill you for their government masters....”
The Thin Blue Line was pretty much vaporized during the BLM fiasco.
The issue was the PA system, not the message. I would however love to see the cops show the same enthusiasm for a bullhorn wielding woketard.
The use of an amplifier in this case could be seen as an attempt to disrupt the event and to disturb the peace. The cops should have warned him not to use the amplifier and told him he was free to “speak” but not to do so in a manner designed to disturb the peace. Frankly, I suspect he had already been warned before they started the video
From a Christian viewpoint, the kid was being a jerk. This was a poor witness.
This may have been selective enforcement, since they would probably not have arrested anyone who was trying to hold an outdoor Christian event, but that doesn’t excuse this guy.
I think you meant "violate".
But is it illegal if no one follows the Constitution?
We have a criminal thug government, that does whatever it wants.
