Three Dog Night was the biggest group of the early 70's, now they are forgotten.

They’re no more forgotten than other big groups of that era. They were a great example of the sixties bands than the singer-songwriters of the 70s, but had stronger vocals and excellent arrangements. Hit-making machine in action.

Largely ignored because they performed others songs.

Their current road drummer sat in with the band I was in in Florida a couple of times. Pat Bouts. Nice guy and obviously an excellent drummer. 🔊🎸

I’ve always wondered— Why did they name the Bullfrog, Jeremiah ???
To: DallasBiff
I have all their hits on my phone and my older but paid for Genesis has the same stereo system as the Rolls Royce Phantom.
Fun!

Chuck Negron’s voice was always the best. His songs were my favorites.

They were the first concert I ever saw. They played with T-Rex, lol.

Best rendition of “Try a Little Tenderness” ever.

In September I’m going to see them live in Salina, KS. They (or at least some of them are still touring. I couldn’t pass up tickets.

In 1990 I was dating a guy quite a bit younger than I was — a co-worker. One day when I got to the office he said that on his way to work he had heard a really good “new group — Three Dog Night”.
I figured the age difference was going to be a problem, so broke it off.
